14 Representative Engagements For a rapidly-growing online marketing organization: defined efficient processes in conjunction with its evolving service offering. Defined business and technology requirements prior to evaluating software platforms. Created the overall technology roadmap and assisted with the implementation of the technology. For a large healthcare provider: performed a comprehensive technology assessment and created a technology strategic plan for this large, complex growing enterprise consisting of 11 hospitals and dozens of remote care centers. The plan was accepted and is currently being put into action. For a mid-sized durable goods distributor: identified $24M in inefficiencies, developed a full range of new sales, operations and financial processes, led a software evaluation and helped implement new processes. For a mid-sized distributor and retailer: conducted a process re-design project covering product development, catalog, internet and store order management and back office financial functions leading to the development of RFP requirements. For rapidly-growing online marketing organization: defined efficient processes in conjunction with its evolving service offering. Defined business and technology requirements prior to evaluating software platforms. Created the overall technology roadmap and assisted with the implementation of the technology. For a mid-sized insurance salvage service provider: conducting a focused investigation into the efficiency and controls of a key operational process that has significant impact on SLA performance and company revenue and cash flow accuracy 14 14
15 Representative Case Studies Client: Startup High Technology Company Business Challenge: This high-growth Search Engine Marketing Company needed help adapting to growth, process and profitability challenges. It had grown at a compounded rated of 250% per year, while redefining and reinventing its service offering. The company turned to TSI for assistance in facilitating its strategic direction while creating an efficient, scalable and sustainable infrastructure, and a consistent profit model. TSI s Role: TSI worked with the Executive Team to collaboratively define its vision, to be processes, supporting organization structure, and technology infrastructure. TSI helped to implement process, organization and significant technology change including the design and implementation of a management dashboard to track financial, innovation and quality results throughout the organization. Results: This project resulted in the development of a scalable, sustainable organization structure, business processes and technology infrastructure. This organization was able to continue on its remarkable growth pace as a result of this project
16 Representative Case Studies Client: Mid-sized Durable Goods Manufacturer and Distributor Business Challenge: This organization needed help adapting to two important changes: significant growth and inefficient processes caused by a poor Oracle implementation. As a result, the organization had trouble with innovation, profitability, quality and customer service. TSI s Role: Worked with the Executive team to understand and clarify the organization's direction. Then, with an operational team, we analyzed and improved its current processes, defined operational and technology recommendations, and implemented the recommendations with the highest ROI. We recommended a mid-tier ERP/Financial system implementation, and assisted with the requirements evaluation, vendor selection, contract negotiation and project management of the implementation. We also created a data warehouse and assisted with the data extraction and cleanup to make this warehouse useful. Results: TSI hit every project milestone, while completing the project under budget. 1) Performed the new system requirements definition and vendor selection within 10 weeks. 2) Defined detailed to be processes in conjunction with the system implementation within 12 weeks. 3) Realized significant software and services discounts due to effective negotiations. 4) Quantified over $24 million in tangible savings from improving the organization s business and IT processes and right-sizing its IT architecture expenditures
