6 SAP FC user base is very dynamic and therefore training need is high We have a user base of ~1000 SAP FC users worldwide in 90 countries and about 1100 user requests for changes of access to SAP FC The FC set up is constantly changing as we the group is still in the transformation and defining new requirements on a regular base The documentation and training needs for FC are high We defined waves of training documentation by means of WBP Both waves should consist of paper-based training documentation by recording cases step by step, adding additional back ground information We have extensive internal accounting and reporting rules (Lafarge Holcim Accounting and Reporting Principles LHARP). The training has to provide the financial back ground of LHARP LafargeHolcim SAP FC training concept, Reporting and Consolidation, Regina Herren, LafargeHolcim 6

7 The defined waves of training documentation follow the priority of training needs Wave 1: Book-2-Report process documentation and training Documentation of business process in financial reporting Load of data from the ERP into SAP FC via automated jobs and manual entries Business case based examples for data entries (e.g. divesting companies) and passing controls, avoiding common mistakes WBP is used as documentation tool providing power point and word documents consisting of 2 components: Accounting standards and how to us SAP FC to comply with the standards Wave 2: Consolidation of Group Company packages Special business cases and equity analysis Wave 3: Technical internal documentation LafargeHolcim SAP FC training concept, Reporting and Consolidation, Regina Herren, LafargeHolcim 7

9 WBP the way forward in LH SAP product that fit into SAP based environment of LafargeHolcim, the majority of the company is SAP based With a fast changing user base and a constantly evolving SAP FC template we need an easy way to record and document SAP FC on a regular base On the longer run, we intent to open Hana native views to all FC and reginal BW users, which will enlarge the corporate user base and further enhance training needs We need a central place to store our all system related documentation and later on provide easy access new and updated training documentation to our end user We need integrated trainings combining accounting and system training.
