5 What is DAYSONSEAL PUR? DAYSONSEAL PUR is a liquid material based on a pure elastomeric polyurethane that produces a continuous membrane, elastic and fully waterproof, whose properties make it excellent for use on all surfaces, whether new construction or rehabilitation. Furthermore, the substrate must be clean, dry and free of contaminants such as dust, oil, grease, paint and other surface treatments. In case of doubt is recommended to test a small part of the substrate. Substrate preparation For best results is recommended to perform the repair of the support by filling voids, holes and levelling the surface. DAYSON offers a large range of products to perform these operations. In the case of concrete supports, beside of the mechanical preparation (milling) of the superficial cement layer in order to get open porous surface, It is also advisable to eliminate the feeble concrete and surface defects such as blowholes and voids. It is essential that the surfaces are in good condition, and fully cured for 8 days (DTU and norm NF EN 06-). It must have a low vapour transmission (less than lb//h./.000 ft / test method RMA). DAYSONSEAL PUR membrane DAYSONSEAL PUR can be applied with spray equipment or manually. In both cases the application must be done uniformly. Although it can be applied during a cold, wet weather, it is preferable that the temperature is between 5 C and 5 º C and relative humidity does not exceed 85%. In case of use of spray equipment, it must be capable of supplying pressure of 80 bar (000 psi). 19 Mastic data sheet DAYSON JOINT FLEX 5 DESCRIPTION It is one-component polyurethane mastic, of rapid polymerization; in contact with moisture it forms an elastic solid sealant. This product is a free of solvent and PVC, ideal for sealing of cracks, voids, holes vertical and horizontal joints. PRESENTATION Box of units, silted into ampoules of 600 ml, white and grey colours. RECOMMENDED USE - Floor joints,cracks and voids (not for expansion joints) - Industrial sealing, - Doors sealing. - Cooling industry sealing. RECOMMENDED SUBSTRATES Generally is compatible with paints, but is recommended to test on small area. With prolonged exposure to UV radiation, the superficial layer loses its shine, but it does not affect the waterproofing properties. On damp substrates, the mastic requires a primer. ADVANTAGE - Fast curing - Excellent adhesion to most substrates. - Excellent heat resistance for temperatures -0 ºC to 90 ºC - Compatible with the paints once is dry. APPLICATION - Requires a smooth surface, clean, dry and without residual moisture and as hard as possible. - It must be applied at a temperature between +5 C to +0 C. With cold weather, store the product at 0 C before use. - Immediate manipulation once mixed during application. - For the correct implementing, the width / depth ratio should be : at a minimum depth of 0mm. - Wipe off and dry with paper towels, than clean with solvent.
