3 WHO WE ARE Founded in 1996, UniMarine Technical Services LLC (UTS) has grown to become one of the leading establishments in the Emirates and the region. With its base in Ras Al Khaimah, UTS is considered one of the well-settled organizations that can undertake a wide range of turnkey projects. UTS offers its clients an integrated, multi-disciplined line of services both in Marine and Industrial fields in all aspects of Engineering. Our scope of work covers everything from design and supervision to ma-terial supply, fabrication and erection. UTS s first and foremost goal is client satisfaction. Through planning, monitoring, and proper follow up of each individual activity we have been able to maintain our well-earned reputation of being highly reliable and genuinely professional. Matters of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) are also among our primary concerns. All protective and preventive measures regarding QHSE issues are taken, from proper disposal of waste to employee training, and utilizing necessary safety gear and equipment. So far UTS has achieved its goals adequately in all projects. Through utilizing the latest technologies, and selective recruitment and extensive training of per-sonnel, we have always been able to perform up to clients expectations giving the best work quality in the intended time. We utilize the latest CNC technology, and have the qualified staff to meet all the needs of the steel construction industry. Our scope of work ranges from design and engineering to supply of material, fabrication and erection. We have constructed industrial sheds, equipment bearing structures, pipe racks, duct and chimneys, in addition to various roofing and faҫade structures for commercial buildings.

In business since 1996, we understand the industrial and marine painting process thoroughly and know what it takes to complete a project properly, within budget, and on time. Our specialty includes painting of chemical tanks, steel structures, pipes, in addition to various marine vessels, and port and offshore structures. Grit blasting and painting are a core service of our business. As part of the fabrication process, UTS has to ensure that blasting and painting are conducted in a high quality manner through following the QHSEMS guidelines and procedures.

17 OUR SERVICES Thermal Insulation Unimarine has performed various insulation jobs, both internal and external thermal and cryogenic in different industrial plants throughout the UAE. Our scope of work covers design, supply of material, fabrication, assembly, and installation. We have completed major projects in cement plants, petrochemical plants, power plants, refineries and in the ship building sector.

We are currently utilizing a 300 meter long berthing area and a 60,000 square meter dry dock in RAK Maritime City in Ras Al Khaimah that

We can perform steel repairs for collisions and steel renewals along with new installations or repairs of piping and pressure vessels. This project scope covered the following activities: Supply, fabrication, erection, blasting and painting of about 2000 tons of steel on hulls, decks, and side walls. Overhauling of engines and propellers of 23 tug boats.

24 MAJOR PROJECTS Client Name: JBF RAK Project Name: PET Production Plant Project Location: Al Hamra Free Zone, Ras Al Khaimah, U.A.E. The scope of this project included the following services: Fabrication, erection, cleaning and testing of around 320 thousand inch meters of piping for hot oil, compressed air, cooling water, hot water, and chilled water. Fabrication and erection of over 1000 tons of steel in equipment bearing structures, hand railing and platforms. Fabrication and erection of around 210 tons of stainless steel silos and ducting; and Installation of around 8 thousand square meters of thermal and cryogenic insulation on equipment, piping and ducts.

MAJOR PROJECTS Client Name: Linauder Dornier Project Name: PET Film Plant (Four Production Lines) Project Location: Al Hamra Free Zone, Ras Al Khaimah, U.A.E. The following services were covered under this project scope: Fabrication and erection of over 220 tons of stainless steel silos.

Supply, fabrication, erection, cleaning and testing of over 250 thousand inch meters of piping for LPG, natural gas, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, compressed air, and water. Supply, fabrication and erection of over 300 tons of steel in hand railing and platforms. Erection of over 300 tons of equipment, in pumps, filters, boilers, compressors, dryers, and vaporizers. Installation of over 4 thousand square meters of thermal insulation on hot gas ducting.

30 OVERVIEW OF QHSEMS UTS s commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment starts with the senior leaders of the organization. All business units and subsidiaries are aligned with UTS s corporate QHSE Management System. All the relevant policies and objectives are defined and clearly stated. The organizational structure and associated responsibilities for all parts of the business are highlighted, and the arrangements put in place to ensure that all policies are implemented, controlled, monitored and improved as required. UTS recognizes that a major factor in its business success is the emphasis it has placed on QHSE as key elements of all of its activities. UTS provides its clients with services which are of the highest professional and technical standards and which comply with client specific QHSE requirements and local statutory requirements. Doing the job right and doing it safely is our primary business objective. Everyone within the organization, as well as contractors, has an essential part to play in ensuring that UTS continues to improve all aspects of its operational activities. UTS maintains an integrated QHSEMS based on three international standards which are ISO9001:2008 for Quality, ISO14001:2004 for environmental and OHSAS 18001:2007 for occupational health and safety. In addition, UTS has developed its QHSEMS in line with the local applicable standards which are the Abu Dhabi EHSMS Centre standards and Guidelines.
