(2) Directly onto the surface, ensuring it is true and sound. Fixing should be at 300mm centres. Ventilation is recommended in humid areas. Nail or staple (staples min. H14 x B10.8mm, nails min. H16 x 10.5mm) female started edge trim section onto the baton. Trim tongue of 1st plank, fit into trim and nail or staple through the groove side flange into the baton. Fix the subsequent planks tightly joining the tongue to the groove. Clip in male starter edge trim section to finish. Installing light fittings can be simply achieved, however, always consult a qualified electrician for the correct lighting specification and required ventilation. 19
