Ventilation Options Through Fascia Ventilation The Polo ventilated soffit range complies with all UK Building Regulations for new build and renovation projects and provides the equivalent of a 10mm or 25mm continuous air path as required by the pitch of the roof. A Tee Gee Cladding profile is also available with a single row of vent slots (equivalent to 10mm air gap). This is particularly suitable for wider soffits where a tongue and groove feature is required. Mahogany (also available in rosewood) Ventilation strips allow additional or alternative means of ventilation to the roof void. Light Oak Over Fascia Ventilator Over Fascia Ventilation Vented Eaves Protector Where a clean soffit is required, ventilation may be provided over the fascia board using an Over Fascia Ventilator or Vented Eaves Protection system, which is fixed securely to the top of the fascia board. The support provided by a Vented Eaves Protector eradicates ponding which may occur behind the fascia board where there is a tendency for the sarking felt to sag. An optional Bird Comb is available to prevent the ingress of birds and larger insects under profiled roof tiles. Over fascia ventilation profiles are available for both 10mm or 25mm continuous air path. Black 3

These 16mm thick boards are available in standard 5m lengths and can be fixed direct to rafter ends with no requirement for additional backing timber. Recommended 25 x 38mm (suits return flange on C027 starter trim and C040 universal channel with batten cover). Airspace: Batten & fixing centres: Minimum 19mm. Recommended 25mm, with ventilation. 600mm max. up to 2 storeys 400mm max. from 2 to 5 storeys. Coloured Cladding Battens: Min. 25 x 38mm Airspace: Min. 25mm, with ventilation (by means of C061 or C065 angle ventilators at the base and top of the installation).
