4 Project Title: Kabul University Project Site Office Mobilization Component: 1. Site Office Establishment Pos. Description of Work/Items General Notes: 1 The cost for all items below includes supplying of materials, making, installation, transportation, spare parts, accessories, auxiliary materials, relocation of any existing items come under work to any new location guided by the UNOPS Engineer, removal/salvage/disposal of any existing structure that needs to be removed/salvaged/disposed, reinstating of all under work and their surrounding areas after the work to their original states, all wilding works, hardware, glazing, all types of paintings including antirust paintings of all nongalvanized steel surfaces followed by 2 other coats of oilbased painting and any other needed works and materials to complete the job to the full satisfaction of UNOPS Engineer. 2 Samples for all types of equipment, appliances, materials and accessories that need to be used in this contract shall be brought to the approval of UNOPS engineer before using them in the job. All water sanitary items to be Master Brand (or equivalent). All electrical equipment shall be prior to unops eng approval (maked submission before asked). All ceramics to be RAK Brand. All painting to be JOTUN or equivalent Brand. All marbles to be Afghan Marble approved by UNOPS Engineer. (*Relevant to work, contractor obliged to use mentioned materials.) 3 Read sections in given specifications, and also read the drawings before pricing the job. Material availability and changes of market prices for any material is to the responsibility of the Contractor without any extra payment. 4 In practical work, there may or may not be a 10% variation in the design/size/quality/quantity of different parts of the work itemized in their BOQ; all such changes till full satisfaction of UNOPS engineer are without any extra payment. Only those vast changes in the design can be paid on the top of the BOQ sum subject to approval of UNOPS Engineer. (In the case of big changes in the scope of work, there must be a written agreement between Contractor and UNOPS Engineer on an agreed extra scope along with their prices prior to resume/finish the work ). Site Office Establishment 1 2 Fencing Around the proposed building area : The fencing system will be made of galvanized 2" pipe for posts and horizontal railing; the posts embedded into M150 Portland cement plain concrete foundations of 500x500x300mm size. The post c/c with the height of 2500mm from ground level. There will be galvanized 2" 10m distance and also at each corner of the system. The cost for liner meter of the fencing covers main double leaf gates and single leaf gates as shown on the drawing or guided by UNOPS engineer. The cost includes any foundation digging, concrete foundation and all needed work and materials to complete job. The cost also includes whatever is in drawings and mentioned in General Notes to full satisfaction of UNOPS Engineer. Fencing Around the proposed site office area: The fencing system will be made of galvanized 2" pipe for posts and horizontal railing; the posts embedded into M 150 Portland cement plain concrete foundations of 500x500x300mm size, and on post's top there will be a 'Y' shape steel galvanized support for one row of 500mm dia razor wire; galvanized steel mesh of 50x50mm tied to the posts and railings. 5 Project Title: Kabul University Project Site Office Mobilization Component: 1. Site Office Establishment Pos Description of Work/Items Water Well: Digging of new water well (hummer well), 8" diameter, to the full depth of 30m from existing ground level. This item and its cost includes drilling, filtration and nonfiltration PVC pipe casings, water well tests, submersible1" electrical water pump, betomite filing and gravelling around casing, concrete apron around the well, connection to the water storage tank, supplying and installation of plastic water storage tank 1000 liter on the washroom building roof, and any other work and materials to make this item complete. The cost also includes whatever is in drawings and mentioned in General Notes to full satisfaction of UNOPS Engineer. Generators and Generator house : Supplying and installation of new diesel generating sets; 12 kva and 35 kva including their all required accessories, panels, switch gears, all required connections etc. to make them as in full functioning condition. The cost for this item also include building of new generator RCC M200 pads/floor, steel mesh fencing around the pad with double leaf door, a GI corrugated shed roof, a steel fuel tank with the capacity of 1000 liters and thickness 2mm steel fully antirust and oil painted (the tank to be full of diesel at the time of delivery),all above Genrator and fuel tank shold be fully functional connected for oparation and sand bag security protection around the fencing to a height of 1500mm from the ground. See drawings or consult Engineer for details of the work. The cost also includes whatever is in drawings and mentioned in General Notes to full satisfaction External lighting and External Cabling: This item covers connections of external and internal cabing in trenches to offices, guardhouse, safe room and wash room, and also covers supply and installation of 250 watts flood lights (N=12) around the area, The cost includes all needed cabling, ducting, trenching, digging, fillings, PVC piping, warning tapes, sands, bricks, connections, and whatever required to make the system properly functioning to full satisfaction of UNOPS Engineer.,General Note of this BoQ is also mandatory to full satisfaction of UNOPS Engineer. Saferoom : Construction of new Saferoom building. See drawing for details. The saferoom building is made of 400mm thick reinforced CMU walls with cement mortar 1:5, RCC M250 roof, a flat roof (ISOGAM water proofing) with relevant roof layers and downspout, steel door set and window set,there are need an internal escape door with steel access gateway, weather shield painting to all in & out surfaces, oilbased painting to door/windows, electrical lighting and power sockets.,general Note of this BoQ is also mandatory to full satisfaction of UNOPS Engineer. Pre Made Guardhouse (3x3): supply and installation of new wooden premade guardhouse, Pre cast PCC blocks should be used around the footing of Guardhouse. The guardhouse is a simple house also framing should be made by pine wood Roof shall be made of wooden Frame coverd with Galv sheet (gauge 22) as detailed in drawings.guard housre door & windows shall be wood made, walling shall be infilled with insulation glass wool, panelled with plywood at interior and exterior, all surface shall be oil painted in and out, electrical lighting and power socket should be installed as per drawing with fuse box,general Note of this BoQ is also mandatory to full satisfaction of UNOPS Engineer. Gravel Parking: Construction of new parking using 100mm compacted gravel on the compacted soil (only for Site Office). See drawing for details. The item and its cost includes alignment, leveling, base compaction, gravel compaction and all needed work and materials to a complete work Complete work will be approved by UNOPS Engineer. The item and its cost includes alignment, leveling, base compaction, gravel compaction and all needed work and materials to a complete work. Complete work will be approved by UNOPS Engineer. The cost also includes whatever is in drawings and mentioned in General Notes to full satisfaction of UNOPS Engineer. Boom gate: Construction of new boom gate at the area entrance as per given drawings/ guidance of Engineer. The gate is made of 3mm thick steel pipe dia 150mm, The cost incudes antirust and oil painting finishing,foundation work etc. to complete The woork as per drawing. complete work will be approved by UNOPS Engineer. The cost also includes whatever is in drawings and mentioned in General Notes to full satisfaction of UNOPS Engineer. Site Office containers: (2 nos. of 20' containers and 1 no. of 40' container) Supplying and installation of new office containers in the orientation shown on the drawing/guided by Engineer. The cost includes complete office containers having full finish for inside and outside,should be installed using best insulation material glass wool for walls/floors/ceilings, airconditioning system ( 4 AC SPLIT UNITS BTU), lighting (8 nos of 2X36 watts flourescent light fixture), light switch ( 4 nos of 10 Amps ), power receptacle ( 12 nos of 16 Amps dublex receptacles), PVC fuse box ( 3 set two with 3x32, one 3x40 Amps and 14 nos breakers of 1x25, 1x20 amps), wiring in pvc conduits ( 2.5 and 4mm2 for lighting and receptacles) power cables (2 set of 5x6mm2 and 1 set of 5x10mm2 as per drawing E03), communication/it( one 24 port switch, PVC ducting, CAT6E, CAT5E walljacks as per need), PCC block 400x400x400mm foundations, concrete stair steps for entrances, PVC doors/windows 3 hinges and double glassed windows, outside painting and any other relevant task that required/guided by Engineer to make the offices fully functioning. containers shall be ready for of use prior to UNOPS engineer approval.,general Note of this BoQ is also mandatory to full satisfaction of UNOPS Engineer.
