6 Technical Information Environmental: SonaSpray achieves M1 certification for Building Materials emissions. This is the highest classification. The SonaSpray range can contribute up to 17 points to the overall LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) rating of a project. Durability: The adhesive used with SonaSpray provides a strong, durable and resilient bond. When fully cured, surface strength of old plaster will typically improve. Bonding to Substrate: The SonaSpray range can be applied to virtually any substrate configuration although some limitations apply to SonaSpray fcx trowelled; please contact Oscar Acoustics for advice. Some surfaces may need a barrier coating to prevent staining from contaminants whilst the surface is wet. Fully cured SonaSpray will improve the composite strength. Condensation & RH Control: SonaSpray aids in condensation and humidity control by absorbing large amounts of water vapour and releasing it when humidity levels drop, promoting a healthy and balanced atmosphere. SonaSpray reduces ventilation requirements, with potential savings in equipment and operating costs. Colours: Standard Colours fcx - white, arctic white fc - white, artic white, black K-13 Special - white, light grey, beige, tan, black K-13 - white, light grey, beige, tan, black Special Colours are manufactured to order.
