1 WAYNE COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT DAVENPORT UNIVERSITY DESIGN DIVISION SOUTHFIELD ROAD SOUTHFIELD, MI 80 o (8) -00 I f (8) - SUITE RENOVATION GENERAL RUIREMENTS The General Provisions of the Contract Apply to the Work Included in the All work must be performed in strict accordance with applicable codes and ordinances. It is the responsibility of the contractor to familiarize themselves with the code requirements and perform all work accordingly. Field conditions may vary slightly from those indicated on the drawings. The contractor be brought to the attention of the Architect/Program Manager prior to perform any work. Contractors shall remove all debris and scrap materials from the site on a daily basis. The site and building shall be maintained in a clean and safe condition at all times. The owner reserves the right to back-charge Contractors for cleanup and removal of unwanted Materials. At the closeout of the project, the Contractor shall provide warranties and guarantees as requested in the name of the Owner. Final waivers of lien, bonds, and operation & maintenance manuals if applicable shall be due at the conclusion of the project. Voluntary alternates are acceptable only with prior written acknowledgment from the Architect. Substitutions shall not be compromised and shall not diminish the quality of the work. A dust Barrier or approved method must be erected during construction in order to protect the on-going operations and all human interaction from dust, dirt, debris and noise during construction. SUBMITTAL Architect/Program Manager shall approve all materials and manufacturer s products used on the project in advance. COVER PAGE Contractor must submit three () copies of Owner's Operation and Maintenance Manuals for all equipment installed. Also the Contractor must submit a Schedule of Values Corresponding with the AIA payment request breakdown at the commencement of contract. DEMOLITION The Contractor shall provide labor assistance, debris removal and remove all abandoned and/ or unused materials from the disruption of existing services.
