2 TRAINING OBJECTIVES Due to rapid technological development in living pattern of people and introduction of new materials and techniques, trained workforce in Plumber Trade is not able to cope with present needs. New curriculum of Plumber / pipe fitter is developed by considering these facts, so that passouts of this course would have sufficient technical knowhow and reasonable employment opportunities. 3 SKILL COMPETENCY DETAILS: On successful completion of this course, the trainee should be able to:. File, mark, measure, drill & cut the metal pieces.. Cut threads on Steel pipe pieces. 3. Perform pipe joining. 4. Join and lay the waste water pipes. 5. Install the water and gas appliances. 6. Detection of faults in installations and their remedy. 7. Lay down new connection from main water supplies and install gas meters.
