5 The Problem: Disconnect between 2D and 3D Construction Documents 1. Design teams are contractually obligated to produce 2D Construction Documents 2. Design documents do not accurately reflect the information needed in the 3D construction model NOTE: We all can agree that liability continues to be a topic of concern. However, we stand a real possibility of incurring greater liability if we do not perform digital document control on a 3D model [QA/QC]
