2 1.0 INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS 1. Bidders are requested to read carefully the contents of the document. 2. Bidders are to complete the tender document and provide all the related documents information in sufficient detail. The complete tender application forms must be prepared, submitted in original and must be so marked. 3. All documents must be in English language and each of the tender application must be duly completed. 4. All Bidders will be informed accordingly after finalization of tender decision. The Bidders hereby acknowledges and agrees that FNU will not be obliged to discuss any aspect of the tender process. 5. Bidders should note clearly the date and the time of submittal of the tender application. No late or delayed applications will be accepted. Bidders are reminded that no supplementary material will be entertained by FNU after the close of submission. However FNU may, if necessary, at its sole discretion ask for any clarification regarding the submitted tender and/or related documents. 6. All Bidders including those who have tendered are requested to get in touch with Procurements office, for all updates on the tender such as addendums/corrigendum, postponement of tender schedules

3 2.0 REQUIREMENTS 1. Bidder to verify all ground surface condition on site before submitting their tender. 2. Bidder to ensure all personnel have proper grass cutting PPE while entering the site 3. Bidder to ensure all works to be done within proper works specification as provided in the tender schedule 4. Bidder to use their own, plants, machines and equipment s in the execution of the said works. 5. Bidder to coordinate with the Director Estates and Facilities or his duly delegated and authorized staff on all site issue and constraints. 6. Left over debris must be inspected by Client and on approval from the Client the same shall be disposed in a manner appropriate by the Bidder. Debris that the client deems as not to be disposed shall remain the property of the Client. 7. Bidder to provide company profile. 8. Bidder to provide Workers Compensation cover. 9. Bidder to provide Public Liability cover. 10. Bidder is to provide Tax Compliance certificate. 11. Bidder to provide capability statements. 12. All workmanship to be of high expected standard with very neat finish. 13. Bidder shall be liable for any damages to the property/resources at their own cost. 14. An induction shall be done for all Bidders together with the Client.

8 5.0 SCOPE OF WORKS SCHEDULE 2: SCOPE OF WORKS 1. The Bidder is to provide gantry and compactor bins as per Schedule An indication of the number of bins required is provided in Schedule 3 which may be subject to change. The numbers and/or the period of service may be increased/decreased as and when needed. 3. The Bidder is to empty all gantry and compactor bins and, replace and return gantry and compactor bins to their respective positions after being emptied. 4. The Bidder is to provide replacement gantry and compactor bin at same instant as when the bin is removed. 5. The Bidder is to provide bin and with proper lid/cover to the bins. 6. The bins provided by the Bidder shall be in an acceptable, good and usable condition suited for the purposes of safely storing rubbish such that there is no leakages, spillage or pest infestation. 7. The Bidder is to ensure that the gantry and compactor bins are cleaned and chemically sprayed to ensure that no filthy odor and/or maggots or such similar pest infestation results from it. 8. The University reserves the right to request for replacement bins should the bins that are provided not comply with or meet the quality standards expected by the University. 9. The Bidder is to ensure that all Occupational, Health & Safety (OH&S) policies and procedures are complied with. The truck or loader movement in the campus should be such that the safety of the staff and students, and the property of the University is protected at all times. The Bidder is to ensure that no University property is damaged in providing the services and where such damage is caused then the Bidder shall ensure to make good to the same damages. 10. The Bidder is to provide all labour and machinery associated with the works contained in the scope, and must comply with the Schedule 3 for collection, disposal and overhaul services.

9 11. The Bidder is to ensure that a high level of quality standard and service is rendered to the University at all times.
