26 Framework Ra*ng Tests Passed Beam-exterior column connec*on test, CLT deck to beam test, penetra*ons fire resistance ra*ng test, and wall fire resistance ra*ng test (conducted July to November at a facility in Texas); CLT wall panel tests for the panels basic in-plane structural s*ffness proper*es, including regular CLT wall panel tests and CLT wall panel tests with cruciform connector splice tests, with epoxied rod splice tests, and with HSK system splice tests (conducted September to November at Oregon State University); CLT crushing tests to determine the project s structural proper*es when exposed to stress and strain, including regular CLT wall panel tests and CLT wall panel tests with reinforcing screws tests and with steel guard plate tests (conducted September to November at Oregon State University); Floor assembly acous*c tests to gauge the acous*c performance of the project s floor assembly, including a sound transmission test and impact transmission test (conducted in October by Intertek); and A glulam beam-column connec*on test to determine how well the connec*on performs under load and imposed seismic drijs (conducted October to November at Portland State University).

38 Student Lessons Learned The United States has some ground to make up in the mass *mber design and construc*on field compared to Europe and Canada It is currently easier for students to use known structural systems in design steel and concrete, rather than advance the conversa*on on mass *mber What are the current fire ra*ng standards for mass *mber construc*on? Which applica*ons are preferred for which parts of a structure: CLT, NLT, Glulam etc? How can we make it easier to find informa*on?
