5 Real Brick Appearance at Window Reveals and Exterior Corners The Stofix brick facade do not look different from conventional brick masonry walls at the window reveals and corners. Special, pre-dimensioned pistol slips are used in doorways, window openings and other exterior corners. 5 The brick slip panels are made of genuine kiln-fired brick manufactured by reputable brick producers having a huge variety of colours and textures. This makes it possible to freely exercise personal choice in styling of the walls in very special ways or to respect the original appearance.

6 6 Stofix Brick Slip System Stofix system can be fixed to any load bearing structure which can take the load of approx. 40kg/m 2. The rails of the mounting system can be mounted directly to different insulation solutions. Brick Slip Panel Weatherproof genuine kiln-fired brick surfaces provide long-lasting weather shielding for wall structures and insulation Installation Rail The installation rail bears the weight of the brick slip cladding and sets the width of the rain screen ventilation gap. Z-Rail When no additional insulation is needed then Z-rails are fixed directly to load bearing structure, which can commonly be hardwearing insulation panels. Z-rails play an important role on modular mounting system providing precise positioning of insulation rails without measuring. Gain is efficient installation speed and uniform outlook.

7 Installation Rail 7 Insulation Rail The insulation rail is used to define the extrusive extent from the core wall of the added insulation. Old walls can be straightened with the insulation rails and wall mounting brackets. The installation rail bears the weight of the brick slip cladding and sets the width of the rain screen ventilation gap. Wall Brackets The wall brackets bear the weight of the brick facade. Different sizes of wall brackets make mounting system adjustable for desired insulation thickness. Additional insulation will increase building s energy efficiency; either mounting the Stofix brick slip system over existing façade or by dismantling the old façade. 10 10 Well Ventilated Structure Well ventilated structure functions to channel off the excess water as well The Stofix system leaves a contiguous ventilated cavity between the brick cladding and the insulation as required by NHBC. Because of this ventilation the structure remains dry and sound, and this adds time to the functional life of the product. The proper ventilated cavity also enables functional water flow directing in extreme conditions. Faster and more resident-friendly construction The Stofix factory pre-fabricated brick slip panels are delivered to the building site and are installed upon a pre-dimensioned mounting system quickly and without need to fix individual brick slips at site.
