The advantages are plain to see, Silicon is made from sand, a non-poisonous, naturally occurring material, which is available in boundless quantities. ISO 9001 The most important control steps in the course of quality assurance include inspecting the wafers from which the cells are made, the cells which are fitted to the modules, and the modules themselves. The visual appearance of the wafers is inspected, together with their density, thickness distribution, saw marks, deflection, electrical conductivity, resistance and their service life. The cells weight, reflection, structuring, area and edge resistance are checked, among other things. Layer thickness, refractive index, reflectance and fingerprint impressions are examined. The electrical voltage of the cells is also tested and they are sorted accordingly. Temperature coefficients, light-induced degradation, soldering and torque strength of the connecting tracks are inspected. O7 O8

6 4 LONG GUARANTEES Underline The Durability Of Our Products Optimised incoming inspection O9 1O Firstly, an incoming inspection for all materials bought for use in solar modules is performed: e.g. backsheet covers, toughened glass, silica gel, junction boxes, frames, soldering powder, EVA sheets, etc. The affixing, ordering and fitting of cells in the module are evaluated during module production, as well as the sheet lamination and junction box fittings. After completion, the current-voltage ratio is tested and the module is visually inspected. Furthermore, many of the purchasers and procurement managers who work with us perform independent inspection of the modules. This way you can be sure that our guarantees are secure. Since 31 November 2011, all CSUN module guarantees have been secured globally by PowerGuard from the first day of validity for the duration of the guarantee. This insurance is irrevocable and even applies in the event of bankruptcy.
