4 Why M-Tech About M-Tech Design and R&D M-Tech has been involved with energy efficiency for more than 30 years, manufacturing the Enerflow heat pump range since M-Tech is ISO9001:2008 certified and manufacture all heat pumps to SABS quality standards. All designs are done by M-Tech's in-house engineering team with vast experience in heat transfer and thermal-fluid systems. The Enerflow range of heat pumps was developed based on strong R&D relations with the North-West University in Potchefstroom. Manufacturing Turnkey solutions M-Tech has a fully equipped heat pump manufacturing facility located in Potchefstroom, in the North-West Province. M-Tech has been manufacturing commercial heat pumps locally for more than 25 years with a team of highly qualified engineers and technicians. This gives us a great advantage over our competitors. M-Tech offers turnkey energy efficient hot water solutions using our Enerflow range of commercial heat pumps. Project execution phases consist of a detailed system layout design, manufacturing and supply of the relevant equipment (incl. storage vessels, heat pumps and backup heaters), complete installation including pipework and electrical, commissioning, and full maintenance and service support after installation. M-Tech also imports a range of residential, commercial and swimming pool heat pumps. These units are all manufactured specifically for us and to comply with our specifications and quality standards. Due to our many years of experience with commercial hot water systems we also offer hybrid heat pumps with solar water heater installations to further improve the energy efficiency potential. We are there to assist society to move towards a more energy efficient future. Case Study M-Tech converted a 3x litre hot water system to an energy efficient heat pump solution. The existing system operated on 360kW in-tank electrical heating elements. The new system operates on 2x EH80MT Enerflow heat pumps with a 2-stage electrical backup in-line heater.
