3 Corken Responds to Requests For New Autogas Pumps Corken asked, Corken listened Through the help of surveys directed towards marketers promoting autogas, designers and installers of autogas systems, and service personnel responsible for the maintenance of autogas systems, the following concerns surfaced frequently: "Need a pump capable of delivering a minimum of 1 lpm at 7 bar." "Due to system restrictions, the industry is looking for a pump that pumps 75 to 8 lpm at 1 bar." "Noise is an issue. Many autogas stations are in the metropolitan area. People want to fill fast and quietly. Also, the neighbors do not like irritating noise." Corken develops a new pump. Corken took on the challenge to meet the needs as defined for a new autogas pump. The results are the Autogas Series which achieves new levels of performance with higher flows at high differential pressures, nonpulsating and quiet transfer, longer pump life and a design that is easy to repair. The Coro-Flo pumps have a history of excellent reliability for applications requiring low flows at medium differential pressures. Typical applications are cylinder filling, forklift filling, and vaporizer feed. Multistage side channel pumps... The SC-Series exceeds expectations in the handling of liquids involving high differential pressures, low NPSH conditions, and aerated liquids. The pumps are used in carousel filling, bulk transfer, and pumping from underground storage. Stationary vane pumps... The Coro-Vane line is recognized as a pump in which its pumping efficiencies remain high throughout the life of the pump. The sliding vanes compensate for wear and wear parts are easily replaced. Typically they are used to unload barges, rail cars, transports and LPG delivery trucks. In many countries a compressor is used to off-load LPG at the autogas stations. Horizontal compressors...
