13 Strategy for Baltic Sea Region Cooperation on Climate Change Adaptation Strengthen co-operation and information sharing across the region through mainstreaming climate adaptation as a horizontal action in the European Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) Based on facilitating climate adaptions within existing organizations and networks, as well as promoting new forms of transnational cooperation between authorities and the private sector on local, regional, national and transnational levels.
14 Raise awareness of the need for actions at all levels; Goals Provide robust policy relevant research-based knowledge on the impacts and vulnerabilities to climate change, including handling of uncertainties, costs and benefits; Ensue platforms for a policy/stakeholder-science dialogue; Review policies in the light of climate adaptation mainstreaming; Ensure common development of polices for funding of climate adaptation; Make the BSR a model region for macro-regional approach to climate change;
