7 Bioeconomi is: a sustainable production and use of marine and landbased natural resources. a cross sectorial approach based on a circular economy a way to develop a non fossil based economy an economy based on the photosynthesis and with industrial processes to use the natural materials as optimal and circular as possible Responsibilites of The Board of Agriculture Contribute to all the goals in the strategy within its fields of responsibility PAC Bioeconomy/ Fishery and Aquaculture
8 PAC Policy Area Coordinator for Fishery/Aquaculture Increase in aquaculture production and sustainability Added value through cooperation within Baltic fisheries and aquaculture Coordinate actions for an increased sustainability in fishery and aquaculture Engaging the private sector in the bioeconomy Promote flagship projects Enhance the combined effects of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) programmes Develop and improve coordination and cooperation among Member States and stakeholders on fisheries management in the Baltic Sea Baltic Sea fish stocks at MSY level from 2015 onwards and Promote the regionalisation of the Common Fisheries Policy within BALTFISH Create a network of interfaces for the stakeholders so we together can reach the goals of the strategy.
