Waste sustainability in action
WASTE MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS. waste collection, waste PROCESSING and resource recovery. OUR DIFFERENCE. Instant Waste Management operates in the waste and recycling industries and is one of the largest privately owned, family run businesses, in Western Australia. We help the community and the environment by safely, responsibly and efficiently managing waste and maximising recycling and resource regeneration opportunities. Our services range from waste collections and recycling, skips and bins through to fully integrated waste collection contracts for both the private and public sectors. AN INTEGRATED APPROACH. With our extensive fleet of vehicles, comprehensive range of bins and our state-of-the-art Material Recovery Facility, we are able to deliver a total waste management solution to the Perth area and the surrounding North-west and South-west regions of Western Australia. Our wide-ranging resources enable us to cater for all waste projects quickly and efficiently, making us a reliable and trustworthy waste partner. We help customers and industry partners to achieve best practice waste management and high levels of recycling whilst delivering innovation and value for money. OUR COMMITMENT. We re leading the way and showing by example, the importance of waste sustainability now and for future generations. Through a progressive and innovative recycling and resource management operation, we are achieving higher diversion rates away from landfill to help our state improve its environmental credentials. Our waste sustainability in action initiative is our answer to delivering lasting solutions to the environmental waste challenges our society is facing. We re acting today to help protect the environment and the well-being of the communities where we live and work.
Reducing our environmental footprint By collecting the best rubbish to adorn their nests, Bowerbirds embody the instinctive nature to recycle waste for reuse. These birds know how to adapt to their environment and reuse waste to provide the best start in life for their offspring. Inspired by the Bowerbird, Instant Waste Management endeavours to use the latest collection and waste handling technologies, to benefit both businesses and the environment, to create a sustainable future. Our Partnerships:
Waste Strategies. With a rapidly growing population, waste management issues are becoming increasingly crucial for the promotion of environmental sustainability. Drawing on our resources and experience, we actively pursue projects and initiatives that benefit the waste industry, the communities we serve and the environment. Future Growth. Instant Waste Management adopt best practice techniques and processes to recover the resources available from waste. By reclaiming the latent value from waste and diverting it from landfill, we make a vital contribution in conserving raw materials in a world of increasingly scarce natural resources.
HOW WE MANAGE YOUR WASTE Our integrated total waste management solution allows us to handle all types of waste streams. We can customise a package to meet customers requirements, which enhances the management of waste and improves environmental performance. Services we provide include: Skip and hook bins for residential, construction and civil projects. Front lift and rear lift loaded compaction systems servicing the commercial and industrial sectors. Recycling options (paper and cardboard/metal/wood). Waste reports for environmental accreditation. Event services for large and small venues. Liquid waste services from grease traps through to storm water services. Complete resource recovery solutions. Waste Collection Sorting WASTE MANAGEMENT. We collect and dispose of your waste in a timely and safe manner. Our approach is designed to deliver key benefits to you, starting with our account management interface, through to monthly reporting, waste audits and planning. We target cost efficiency, environmental optimisation and resource recovery to provide the best available customer service; all of which leads to a longer term and mutually successful relationships. WASTE LIFECYCLE. Each stage of the production process generates a specific type of waste, and each waste product requires a sustainable management solution. Instant Waste Management takes into account the entire waste lifecycle: from the extraction of natural resources; through to material processing, manufacturing, distribution and use; to the reuse, recycling and the disposal of remaining waste. We embody this approach to ensure the best outcome for our customers and the environment. SUSTAINABILITY IN ACTION. As a waste management business, we are committed to environmental protection and have developed sustainable business practices to minimise our impact on the environment. We continuously seek to improve our operations by investing in technology and participating in offsetting programmes. Our technology, experience and operational techniques ensure the minimum amount of waste is produced, creating a cost effective and positive environmental solution.

By utilising the very best technologies available, Instant Waste Management has built a state-of-the-art Material Recovery Facility (MRF) with leading edge systems, to maximise your recycling potential. The facility is capable of treating over 200,000 tonnes per year of waste and extracts recyclable material including sand, plastics, metals, brick, paper and concrete. Through this internationally renowned equipment we are able to recover and convert waste into marketable new products. We care. The time for wasting the Earth s raw resources has passed. That s why Instant Waste Management strive to provide the latest collection and waste management processes to help customers reduce, reuse and recycle materials. Work with us and become part of our waste sustainability in action initiative. Our MRF plays an important role in diverting material away from landfill and maximising the value of recyclable material recovered from waste. Waste is delivered into our enclosed MRF under strict safety guidelines. This is then loaded into an apron feeder and through mechanical processes the waste is divided into different waste streams. All the collected product, including metal, sand, clay, wood, brick and concrete, is baled, bulked, sorted and remanufactured. Our MRF features a dedicated visitor s walkway and viewing platform, where you can observe the day-to-day operation of the facility and acquire further information about our total integrated waste solutions. Please contact us to organise a visit on see what happens to the waste and discover more about the sustainable waste solutions we offer.
MAXIMISING THE RECOVERY AND RECYCLING OF RESOURCES FROM WASTE BUILDERS RUBBLE Mixed concrete and bricks make up a large amount of the Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste sent to landfill in Western Australia. We divert this waste and produce recycled materials that can be back loaded to site for substantial environmental benefits. PAPER & CARD Paper and card is source-separated and collected via our front load systems. Mixed waste from our general waste bins is sorted and diverted from landfill to waste-tosecondary-recycling markets. SAND Fine screens sieve and sort the sand from C&D streams. This is diverted from landfill and recycled to produce quality assured clean fill sand that meets the relevant Australian Standards. METAL Recycling metal, such as copper and steel, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and uses less energy compared to virgin production. Scrap metals can be recycled and used again, which help to protect and preserve some of nature s most limited resources. WOOD Wood sent to landfill contributes to the methane emissions and, if not captured, contributes to global warming. Wood is sorted using specially designed flotation tank and sent to secondary recycling markets % is our target for waste diversion from landfill Come and see where your building waste goes and help us make waste sustainability a reality.
OUR TEAM Instant Waste Management employs over 200 people in Western Australia. With a WA-based call centre, you speak to a local team member who cares about helping to sort the best option for your waste requirements. We work closely with other industry leaders to establish a reliable and robust supply chain of these recycled products. Our team advocates the use of recycled materials in the community. To increase recycling levels by diverting up to 90% of all waste from landfill, Instant Waste Management s total integrated waste solutions will provide the most sustainable waste management, help to minimise our impact on the environment and reduce our dependency on fossil fuels. We care. Join us in the success of waste sustainability in action and make Instant Waste Management your waste partner of choice.
