8 French riviera survey main findings -No issue without already existing technologies -Main technical issues are related with voltage control by order of occurrence : -Reactive power injection control -Shift in the peak of consumption -End of afternoon ramp-up -Unexpected islanding -Most efficient and less expensive solutions require significant regulation changes (smart inverters, decentralized primary reserve services, smart meters, ) -Most efficient and less expensive solutions have a limited but real impact on the final user (smart meter, TOU s tariffs, EV loading strategy, ) which need not to be underestimated -Still a hard job to be performed to estimate ROI and set up processes to secure funding 8
