Not yet acknowledged the national Anthem as a national prayer. Cultural, religious and linguistic differences National events promoting are government centrered and not community centrered. Proposed Solutions Activities should be apolitical and promote South African ACH. Education and public awareness of national symbols. Education and public awareness. Promote, the theme unity in diversity through learning of different cultures, religion and languages. A culturally inclusive organisation should be tasked with organising national events. Xenophobia, racism and inequality. Distorted historical human relations in SA Workshops and community dialogues to address the issues. Rewriting and teaching historical. 6

7 Institutional Arrangements And Governance How should the DAC, its public entities and the sector be organized to achieve the vision for the sector Decentralise the functions of some entities to local government level. 7

8 Funding within the sector How should funding for the sector be organised within the DAC and the sector Research to scout potential artist and practitioners within the ACH sector in the various communities. Government to source funding in the form of grants to ACH sector. Dedicated budget for the promotion of ACH at local government level which must be reflected in the IDP.
