2 BAF is an acronym of Best Affiliate Forward the document that starts the AMI Talent Sourcing process You, the Corporate Client, create the BAF (with assistance from AMI Talent Sourcing) to meet your need for specialist talent BAFs facilitate the rapid assembly of specialist talent from the AMI member base into temporary specialist work teams The BAF allows you to match your specific need with the large pool of talent provided by the AMI Generally speaking, you create a separate BAF for each specialist role you are seeking to fill 2

4 BAF STRUCTURE BAF EXAMPLE Client: A description or profile of the Client commissioning the BAF. To protect confidentiality, we anonymise all Client names Role: A description of the context and goals of the engagement, including relevant critical success factors and specialist skills or experience required of the Member Location: Location of the engagement, in sufficient detail to allow Members to evaluate their capacity to undertake the role if selected Timing: Requirements for start date(s) and expected duration, to allow Members to evaluate their capacity to undertake the role if selected Process: Instructions to Members for lodging their Credentials Rate: Indicative rates or rate bands applicable, given the level of experience of responding Members 4

7 CURATION PROCESS Once the BAF has been sent to Members, AMI Talent Sourcing will field questions about the role from interested Member AMI Talent Sourcing will review applications from Members, ensuring that all applicants have valid membership status and their Credentials meet the format standards of AMI Talent Sourcing 3 best fit for purpose candidates After the deadline, AMI Talent Sourcing send the long list for curation (best fit for purpose selection) to and relevant curation experts Working with Domain Experts, the top 3 Member Credentials will be selected Once selection is made, AMI Talent Sourcing will send the Credentials of the best candidates to you You then interview the candidates, make enquiries as you deem fit, and choose your preferred candidate Note Curation is filtering for fit for purpose 7

9 MAIN ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT POINTS AGREEMENT EXAMPLE Use the Engagement Agreement template, and add in necessary details such as Member names and rates The specific contractual terms for the engagement (Member names, dates and rates) must be specified in the Engagement Agreement You, as Client, sign the Engagement Agreement. By signing the Engagement Agreement, the Client also gives legal effect to the Head Agreement which covers general terms of the relationship AMI Talent Sourcing will help you with this Client Agreement Version 3.3, updated 27th May 2013 PA Business Model For an introduction to, and overview of the PA business model, consult the PA website at: Information published to this website is presented as an aid to understanding the PA business model only, and does not form part of the formal agreement between PA and the Client. PA Client Agreement The PA Client Agreement (this document) is a Head Agreement defining the business model through which PA delivers benefits to our Clients. It specifies the broad commercial terms under which (potentially multiple) future engagements will progress. The specific terms of future engagements will be defined prior to commencing each new engagement by completing the schedules found under the relevant engagement type of this head agreement. This Head Agreement supports the following types of engagement: a) Support Engagements delivered directly to the Client by PA, through the activities and efforts of PA b) Service Engagements delivered indirectly to the Client by PA, through the activities and efforts of one or more of our formally endorsed PA Affiliates c) Project Engagements delivered directly to the Client by an PA Affiliate, and independently of PA, through the activities and efforts of a third party who is a formally endorsed PA Affiliate d) Recruitment Engagements delivered directly to the Client in the form of a recruitment or placement service whereby the Client is given permission to make offers of full or continuous part time employment to an PA Affiliate in consideration of recruitment fees which become payable to PA by the Client in the event that the PA Affiliate accepts the offer of employment by the Client e) Custom Engagements delivered via a custom agreement between the Client and PA, or between the Client and an PA Affiliate. In this case, the custom agreement supersedes and supplants this agreement to the extent that the terms of the custom agreement are incompatible with the standard terms defined in this document.
