2 What is HockeyEd? Hockey Australia has undertaken an extensive research, review and consultation process in creating the HockeyEd programs to develop an accreditation structure that meets the needs of all modern hockey participants. The HockeyEd officials and coach training programs are competency based and are designed to reflect the modern game and the needs of hockey participants. These programs will see a shift in the focus towards developing practical skills and self-development, and thus ensure coaches and officials are better prepared to meet the demands of the game. The HockeyEd accreditation programs are open to those candidates who can be assessed within the Australian hockey environment. The programs will be delivered in a combination of formats including online learning, practical sessions, self-development activities and workshop training. Content Page 1-3. Step 1 Select the course you wish to enrol into from top dropdowns. 1 Step 2 Select Enrol me (2.1) or if payment required click Send payment (2.2) No payments required for Community courses Payments required for Level 1 + courses You are now enrolled When you have completed the quiz if required, you will need to view the practical competency checklist and get this completed. 7 5 P a g e How do I retrieve my certificate? Step 1 Log into your HockeyEd account 1 Step 2 Got to navigation on the right hand side of the page, Select my courses > the course you wish to retrieve a certificate from eg. Community Coach > select Practical > select Certificate. 2

9 7 P a g e Do I require a HockeyEd number? Your HockeyEd number is used only as a reference point for State/Territory Association HockeyEd coordinators and is no longer required when completing practical forms. This number can still be found on your HockeyEd profile and certificate. Please make sure you download the most up to date practical forms located within the course to complete and finalise the practical component of you course. See below section in course as to where a form is located #1. 1 How do I get a practical assessment? Please contact you State/Territory association HockeyEd coordinator to find out when your next closest course is running. Where do I send my practical assessment? Once you have completed the practical component of your course you then send it to your State/Territory association HockeyEd coordinator.

On this page you edit your profile or update/change your password by selecting (Administration>my profile settings>edit profile or Change password) 2 Who should I contact if I have any questions?
