6 Recruitment Process Our recruitment service is simply a better way of recruiting When you ask us to find a member of staff for you, we will first complete a detailed customer needs analysis, and then: Visit your organisation (if it s the first vacancy we are handling), to ensure we gain an appreciation of the company culture, environment and OH&S etc Take a full job brief and person specification - The details of the role are important, but equally important for us is knowing the type of person you are looking for Search our extensive database of fully vetted candidates and advertise, where appropriate, using our own and independent jobs boards Conduct a 150-point skills test, right to work and fatigue management tests, plus any other specific tests required Match candidates to your specific requirements and brief them about the job, to establish interest and commitment For permanent appointments, we will also: Produce a written candidate summary on each suitable candidate, using information gathered during the interview Provide you with a short-list, the candidate s resume and our written candidate summary Arrange an interview at a time to suit you Liaise between you and each applicant through to job offer, acceptance and commencement onto your payroll Carry out post-placement follow-up with both you and the candidate Complete role-specific psychometric testing, where required Conduct a detailed telephone and face-to-face interview with all candidates Tailor-made Recruitment Service It s important that the service we provide fits your needs as precisely as possible, so we ll gladly tailor a package for you. 11 Training Why Driver Hire Training? Our company has 30 years experience in serving the road transport industry and so we understand the challenges that face everyone working in this industry. Our service has been designed to make everything as simple as possible. Driver Hire s Training department provides a wide range of training services for our clients and candidates working within the transport and logistics industry. We operate in a heavily regulated industry and we know how difficult it can be for drivers and other staff to keep up to speed with the rules that affect them while they are at work. At the same time, we believe we have a responsibility to our customers to provide staff that are fully aware of (and comply with) all relevant legislation.
