Having built an outstanding reputation for meeting the complex needs of clients in materials transhipment and specialised cargo transportation over many years, TSA can be regarded as one of Australia s most accomplished tug and barge towage companies. Operating an exclusive fleet of tugs and barges, with the capacity to expand the tug fleet to meet client needs on short notice, TSA oers the ability to plan, engineer and execute eicient, cost-eective and safe port-to-port and port-to-vessel transport and transfer scenarios. Materials and freight movement that are capable of being undertaken by the company range from coal, iron ore, mineral sands and bauxite, to heavy duty construction and earthmoving equipment. TSA has developed a comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) and aligned procedures that ensure adherence to health and safety, quality and environmental standards at all times. Through the practical implementation of the SMS, TSA are very proud of a nil LTI record and potential clients are invited to inspect our HSEQ policies and procedures at any time. The key to success in any marine undertaking is in comprehensive planning and a thorough understanding of all the variables involved. TSA assigns an experienced team to every project, completing extensive preparatory work in order to make the job eicient and cost eective. Our crews, management and engineering personnel have undertaken projects across the globe, many in diicult and remote areas. In the field of transhipment, TSA s experience is unrivalled, with millions of tonnes of ores and other materials safely transported and transferred over the decades of operation. The company s personnel register includes highly experienced and qualified Pilots, Loadmasters, Masters, Mates, Engineers and Deck Crew, and our Perth-based management team consists of people with extensive industry experience as well as appropriate marine qualifications. General Manager Guy Scahill is a Master Class 4 with over 15 years commercial marine experience around Australia and the world. TSA s commitment to service and fulfillment of clients expectations extends to investing our own time and expertise in the design and implementation of solutions for challenging towage, transhipment and transfer projects. The company is always willing to discuss the design, engineering and fabrication of unique transhipment loading facilities in any location, on a Build/Own/Operate (BOO) or Build/ Own/Operate/Transfer (BOOT) basis. We can undertake feasibility and analysis studies, canvassing dierent options and approaches, and work with clients to arrive at the most cost-eective and mutually beneficial

The company owns and deploys three 70m Deck Cargo barges capable of carrying up to 3500 tonnes of cargo, whether that is mineral fines or heavy equipment. The barges are generally towed by one of the company s Workboat Tugs, 23m Reliance and 26m Radiance, with a bollard pull rating of 20 tonnes. If the project requires, the company can deploy other vessels with higher bollard pull ratings, crewed by TSA s experienced personnel. The fleet is usually stationed in the North West region of Western Australia, principally operating out of Wyndham but able to service an area from Dampier to Brisbane and beyond.
