1 1 Story The waste of energy becomes more and more important because of increasing costs for the energy and certainly because of the climate change. I try to save energy by some means or other but I m not sure how successful I m. Especially the consumption of energy at home is totally unclear because where is no standard of comparison. With a few attributes like room size, age of the building, no. of rooms you can categorize you home. Some big advantage of a cloud environment is, that you can compare your data with others. Naturally it is very important that no one gets access to your single records. But your data can be used to build a peer group to compare the energy consumption with homes of a similar standard. 3 For the user guidance through the steps, a tab bar is used: At the beginning it is necessary to categorize your home and the peer group by some attributes. The starting screen/1 st tab Profile (see BUILD study) It is not necessary to fill out all the attributes for the peer group if you want to confine your peer group not too much.
