3 Damon New Narrow Belt Merge Conveyor 一 overview As the continuous development of society, much faster pace of life, logistics distribution has been closely linked with people s life which makes logistic sorting system serve different industries and daily life more effectively and correctly. This brings infinite opportunities and great challenges for logistic sorting system development which impels logistic sorting system developing into a much higher level. Damon new narrow belt merge conveyor is a kind of product widely applied in conveyor and sortation system. It connects to branch conveyor line and main conveyor line and has a certain angle with the main conveyor line. Products to be handled are conveyed to narrow belt merge conveyor by branch conveyor line, then to the main conveyor line by narrow belt merge conveyor. Changing the conveying direction to achieve products merge function.

One drive roller drives all unit module of narrow belt which convey products with different sizes and shapes onto the main conveyor line. 2.1 types of new narrow belt merge conveyor According to conveying direction of main conveyor line and narrow belt merge conveyor position to the main conveyor line, merging directions of narrow belt merge conveyor can be divided into left side merge and right side merge. Under normal condition, narrow belt merge conveyor merge angle A 30, as shown in the picture below. Based on frame B/B (effective width), there are 574mm 655mm 736mm 817mm 979mm specification series of narrow belt merge conveyor. To reduce types of each specification series, all narrow belt merge conveyors are designed on their short side and set the short side length (Ls) as a constant value, that is Ls=600mm. Each narrow belt shares one drive, but don t interfere with each other, so all of these make it a new drive mode. This type of conveyor modules can be easily assembled and disassembled under the condition o f not assembling or disassembling drive roller and frame. Unique tension unit can adjust to the different requirements from each narrow belt. It is convenient, fast assembling and disassembling as well as improves installation and maintenance efficiency.
