3 Abstract Let s face it, most of us look at accountability as an assignment of blame. As in: you did it, now admit it, and fix it. In reality, employee accountability is a system for tracking work and accomplishment, and not just the mistakes made along the way. By weighing and reckoning behavior, helping employees own a result, and providing a reckoning of actions taken and not taken, companies can instill higher levels of ownership and clarity within their workforces. 11 Actions That Make A Difference In any sporting event, you could say that there are two games going on simultaneously the game taking place on the court and the game taking place in the stands. The only actions that directly put points on the scoreboard are the actions on the court.
