9 Danube Fleet: flagship project Innovative Danube Vessel Study commissioned by via donau (PAC 1a) on behalf of DG REGIO Overall objective: Elaboration and development of innovative vessel and technology solutions with high potential for implementation on the Danube Provision of recommendations for further technology development within the framework of the Danube Region Strategy Project duration: 18 months (until end of 2013) Slide No. 9

16 River Information Services EU project IRIS Europe 3 - Implementation of River Information Services in Europe Objective: Support Fairway and Traffic Authorities and RIS Providers in enhancing their RIS related services towards the fairway users, and to enable a common quality level of pan-european services Partners: National RIS providers of the countries Austria (via donau, bmvit), Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Republic Slide No. 16
