3 Introduction to Kakinada SIR 2 Kakinada SIR located ideally in Andhra Pradesh, a new state with the most progressive and proven regime Identified as a economic growth engine by the state government KSIR in the southern state of India, Andhra Pradesh (AP) Andhra Pradesh (AP) is one of India s foremost progressive states with high GDP, literacy levels and Human Development Indicators (HDI). AP is blessed with the 2nd largest mineral value in India, strong agricultural economy and geographical advantage of 972kms of coastline KSIR is located in the East Godavari district of AP, the most populous and the district with highest HDI in the state blessed with abundant surface water from its perennial river (Godavari) the district also has the highest reserves of Oil & Natural Gas in South Asia With an area span over ~10,500 acres, KSIR will be self contained & a sustainable township with ideally designed Core infrastructure, Industrial common infrastructure, Business facilitation infrastructure & Social infrastructure

4 Introduction to Kakinada SIR o KSEZ is located in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh (AP) o Presence of Sea Ports as well as the Oil & Gas discoveries in the Godavari basin make this district an ideal ground for Logistics, Energy and Hydro Carbon based industries o The project is present strategically in the AP-PCPIR (Petroleum, Chemical & Petrochemical Industrial Region) o KSEZ is being developed over ~10,500 acres along with a sea port o Over 5000 acres of land is notified as port based Multi Product SEZ o Plan to incorporate domestic tariff area also o The company also possesses a license for development of Port o An Integrated Refinery and Petchem Complex to be the anchor project for the KSEZ 3
