3 page_01 Green Compreg For Customized Applications GREEN COMPRESSED INSULATION BOARD GREEN ELECTROWOOD A Reliable Choice for Electrical Insulation GREEN ELECTROWOOD is a non-impregnated, compressed wood laminate, manufactured using oil-free Beach Veneers having straight grain orientation and inbuilt mechanical strength with insulating properties. The veneers are impregnated with water repellent thermosetting phenolic resin, followed by drying in a band dryer to achieve the desired level of moisture content. The assembly packs of veneers are weighed accurately to maintain the required density, and then pressed in a sophisticated high capacity hydraulic press at a high temperature and pressure. The pressed panels are allowed to cool down to room temperature, releasing internal stress by a mechanical cooling system, to thus ensure perfect dimensional stability of the sheets in ambient conditions. This assures good machining efficiency of the components, with excellent dielectric properties. Two types of Green Electrowood (GEW) are manufactured: TYPE I: Materials with all-grain orientation in the direction of the axis of load. 5 page_03 Green Compressed Wood Board For Railway Coaches Green compressed boards are manufactured in either both side plain form, or with one-side checkered design. These are widely used for furnishing rail coaches and conform to Railway Specifications as per RDSO IS-C Each layer of the veneer used in this panel is peeled from selected wood species that are treated with high quality thermosetting phenolic resin. They are compressed in a high capacity press under high temperature and pressure for the required time, and then cooled down to room temperature by using a mechanical cooling system. Extra care is taken to ensure that the product meets all the necessary mechanical and fire-retardant properties. They are thoroughly processed to meet the fire-safety and fire-resisting properties earmarked as per IS 5509 & All the relevant testing required by railways are carried out in our fully equipped technical laboratories, as per IS 5509 & specifications. 6 page_04 Green Compreg For Customized Applications GREEN COMPRESSED TRUCK FLOORING WOOD BOARD This is a wood composite in which several veneers having adequate retention of phenolic resin are positioned in a manner that the panel possesses more strength along the length of the board. Two metal wire meshes are reinforced in-between the layers, in a balanced construction. This provides extra strength to the board and prevents it from disintegrating. The top surface of the panel is anti-skid and has high abrasion resistance, and the panel has a waterproof coating of phenolic film on either side. 7 inside back cover Fire Retardant Plywood This product is a combination of several hardwood veneers coated with IS 848-grade phenolic resin and fire retardant chemical solution. In this plywood panel, every layer of veneer is saturated with special fire resisting chemical MAP (Mono Ammonium Phosphate) of known concentration having adequate retention in veneers as per IS 5509 using vacuum pressure impregnation treatment. This ensures that the plywood conforms to IS 5509 & standards, meeting all the necessary fire retardant properties. It retards the amount of burning and thus decreases the heat released by the surrounding products. The high density of the raw material in Green Fire Retardant Plywood slows down the ignitability and flame spread. It reduces the combustion of gases that are released during ignition and are also diluted by fire retardant chemicals retained in the plywood.
