General Terms and Conditions a. Exhibitors can order other stand fittings from the rental catalogue. These services are chargeable. b. During the rental period, exhibitors and their associated personnel are responsible for the rented property and are fully liable for any loss or damage to the structural components or furnishings. The Technical Service Provider should be notified immediately of any damage to the stand structure or theft of any items rented. Damaged walls will be invoiced to the exhibitor at a rate of RMB per sqm. c. Cabins and lockable furniture are not burglar-proof. Exhibitors are strongly recommended NOT to keep valuables inside. d. Exhibitors are not allowed to make any structural modifications to the items rented without approval, nor must glue or nails be used to attach displays to the walls. The walls must not be damaged in any way. Pictures or graphics may only be hung on the walls after consulting the Technical Service Provider. e. In case of unavailability of the items ordered, the Organiser reserves the right to supply equivalent or better items. 7

A fee of RMB will be invoiced to exhibitors for any opening of locks of cabins, etc. due to misplaced keys after taking over the stand due. At the end of the exhibition, keys must be left in the locks concerned. A charge of RMB per key will be invoiced to exhibitors for any keys lost. g. The exhibitor s appointed stand contractor must therefore:- a. Submit a photocopy of the business license and the legal representative s ID card to the Operations Centre. b. The appointed contractor must have been established for at least 3 years. c. The appointed contractor must not have any bad safety records. d. During the construction stage, safety measures must be taken, for the setup, show and dismantling period, and the appointed contractor is required to purchase and obtain the relevant insurance (public liability and workmen compensation). A copy of the insurance certificate must be presented in advance to the Operations Centre. 2. Performance Bond A refundable performance bond must be paid by all stand contractors appointed by exhibitors or by exhibitors who are building their own stand. No construction of an exhibition stand will be permitted unless prior approval has been given. All related drawings and service forms must be mailed to Operations Centre for approval before 14 March Exhibitors will be notified in writing if their stand design has been approved. Exhibitors whose stands are not approved will be notified and advised by Operations Centre on the steps needed to achieve compliance. The electrical supply for machinery and lighting is provided free of charge in accordance with the rental contract (see Article A11 point 8 of the General Regulations for details on the availability of the intermittent electrical supply), provided this form is returned by 14 March Requirement for connections to air conditioner, compressors, laptops or other domestic use should not be connected to these mains, Exhibitors can use either the 4-amp, 24hour single phase supply included in Article A11 of the General Regulations, or order a separate power connection for this purpose. The Organiser will provide each exhibitor with one lighting and one machinery power connection, each one terminating at a switched isolator. A single phase supply up to 4 amps is available 24 hours/day free of charge to enable exhibitors to run computers, fax machines and fridges, terminated at one 3-pin switch socket outlet for every stand. For additional electrical orders, in addition to the mains provided free of charge, or for 24-hour main supply order for machinery power and lighting, please order through Service 2A. b. Hanging object have to be installed by stand builders and must be pre-approved. The professional staff of The Venue shall conduct the hanging work. b. If the stand is situated close to the walls, no hanging point is allowed on parts near the walls and whether hanging points are allowed on parts away from the walls shall be decided on site. Hanging objects that affect The Venue structure or facilities safety will not be allowed. If a single structure needs hanging, The Venue takes responsibility for installing hanging points and blocks while the Exhibitors and their appointed contractor are responsible for the remaining construction. Hanging advertisements and structural hanging points shall not be placed above public areas unless the Organiser agree to do so with a written approval. Hanging points shall not be used for lifting facilities and for bearing any moveable objects. c. The above cost is based on single-sided banner calculation. Banner with double-sided graphic will be counted as 2 banners. 48

The top and bottom edges of the banner shall be fixed by one metal tube without any break or connection points. If the banner has a width of no more than 5 metres and a weight of no more than 25kg, it can be hung by cotton ropes. If not, a hanging block shall be used. Banners wider than 5 metres shall be fixed by lamp holders. e. The above fees may change depending on the final hanging material delivered to the hall. The Venue reserves the right to change the above fees. 4. Requirement and Specifications a.
