2 Brand guidelines are developed to protect the integrity and value that brand represents. This document describes the basic elements of the GT Nexus identity system our brand and provides usage guidelines. Adhering to these graphic standards is essential in maintaining a consistent and professional public identity for GT Nexus.

3 STRATEGY THE CHALLENGE We need to break through immense levels of noise in our space that all sounds and looks the same. We achieve this through provocative messaging delivered in a clean, well designed, simple way. 3

8 OUR BRAND A BRAND FOR ALL TIME It takes as much time to build a brand as it takes a person to build a reputation. The difficulty is not as much to perfect a strategy as to be focused, differentiated, and consistent everywhere, every time. Gradual course corrections are acceptable, but we don t chase the latest fads or make hard right turns. Brands are built slowly, it takes time. 8

10 The ideal background for the GT Nexus logo is solid white or very light gray. Do not alter the logo, substitute or rearrange any of the logo colors. The logo should always include the tagline. The preferred application is on a white background. Refer to us as GT Nexus, not GTN, Nexus, or GT. In writing, keep GT and Nexus together, as the same line, as a single unit. 10

We use this custom red for stationery/envelope, note card/envelope, and folder off set printing where it is important to match the business card digital-print red so that the entire business system coordinates perfectly. 11

12 LOGO VARIATIONS Dark background Grayscale 1-color 100% black An alternate version of the GT Nexus logo exists for placement on a solid dark background. Logo text: Pantone 1797 Logo box background: White Logo text: White Tagline: White (reverse) Use this version whenever there is no possibility of color printing. Logo text: Pantone Cool Gray 10 C Logo box background: Pantone 420 Logo text: White Tagline: Pantone Cool Gray 10 C Use in all media where color is not an option. Examples include fax sheets, one-color merchandise items, and simple graphic media. Reverse * Avoid using the GT Nexus logo in all white. 12

13 LOGO SPACING X X X The GT Nexus logo should not be crowded or overwhelmed by other elements competing for the space. If placed within a cluttered environment, the logo risks becoming obscured and insignificant. The required minimum clear space can be measured in relation to the equal height and width marked by the symbol x at the right. This clearance should completely surround the entire logo lockup, top and bottom; left and right.

14 LOGO MINIMUM SIZE Digital 120px Print 30mm Digital 80px Print 20mm Full logo Minimum logo width for digital use is 120px. Minimum logo width for print is 30mm. Without tagline For exceptional cases only, when the logo gets too small, the tagline should be removed. The minimum accepted width is 80px for digital and 20mm for print. The logo spacing rule still apply.
