3 GENERAL INFORMATION On behalf of the Tri-County Marine Trade Association and JBM & Associates, we welcome you to The 36 th Annual Charleston Boat Show. Enclosed you will find the Vendor Kit with all of the pertinent information to help you prepare for the show. The Vendor Kit can also be downloaded under the Vendor tab on the website at Please take time to review the information enclosed immediately to ensure you meet all deadline dates. LOCATION: Charleston Area Convention Center 5001 Coliseum Drive, North Charleston, SC SHOW HOURS: Friday, January 29, 2016: 10am - 12:00pm (VIP Access Only) Friday, January 29, 2016: 10am - 6pm Saturday, January 30, 2016: 10am - 6pm Sunday, January 31, 2016: 11am - 5pm TICKETS: VIP - $35 Adults - $9 Children $4 Military - $5 (With Valid ID) Children 3 and Under - Free Parking is Free! TRAVEL INFORMATION: Hyatt Place and Embassy Suites will be offering vendors and attendees discounted rates for the show. Please see page 11 for details. 4 The following will be due by January 6, 2016 in order to participate in the show: A Certificate of Liability Insurance with JBM & Associates, LLC named as additionally insured for The Charleston Boat Show, January 29-31, Final Payment for Exhibit Space GUEST TICKETS: Guest tickets can be ordered in advance using the form enclosed on page 10. Vendors may also purchase guest tickets during the show at the Show Information Desk. VENDOR ENTRANCE: Vendors may enter the facility one hour prior to the show opening on Saturday and Sunday through the back door near the loading dock of the Convention Center. All exhibit personnel must show their vendor badge to enter the vendor entrance and to enter the show during show hours. VENDOR BADGES: Badges are restricted solely to employees working in your exhibit. Non-working employees, customers and family members of the vendor should be provided with guest tickets supplied by the vendor. The number of badges allowed per vendor will be based on the size of the space contracted. See the chart below for the maximum number of badges allotted to your company: 10x10 Booth Space 10x20 Booth Space Outside Bulk Space > 2,000 square feet Inside Bulk Space > 5,000 square feet 6 Badges 8 Badges 10 Badges 12 Badges During move-in and show hours, badge pick-up will be available in the Convention Center Lobby at the Vendor Registration/Show Information booth. Show Management is not responsible for lost or stolen badges. Vendors only may purchase replacement or additional badges for $5 each. BULK SPACE MOVE-IN/MOVE-OUT: Bulk Space: A detailed schedule for inside and outside bulk space will be ed two weeks prior to the show. 4

5 Inside Space: All vendors with inside space must move-in from the loading docks in the back of the Convention Center. Absolutely no move-in will be permitted through the front entrance. BOOTH VENDOR MOVE-IN/MOVE-OUT: Move-In: Thursday, January 28, 2016 between 9:00am-8:00pm NEW FOR 2016: There will be absolutely NO move-in on Friday morning. Vendors must be set up and ready by VIP show opening 10:00am on Friday! No exceptions! All exhibits must have a staff member present during all hours of the show. Booth Move-Out: Sunday, January 31, 2016 between 5:30pm-9:00pm. Tent removal will begin Sunday night. VENDOR PARTY: JBM & Associates, LLC cordially invites you to The Charleston Boat Show Vendor Party and Oyster Roast! The party will take place Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 5pm-7pm in the Coastal Fishing Expo Tent in the parking lot. Come enjoy steaming hot oysters, hamburgers, hot dogs, beer and wine. Two drink tickets per person, followed by cash bar. Each vendor may invite up to three guests. SHOW COLORS: The show colors will be black/light blue/black 8 foot back drape, black 3 foot side drape. Black and blue tuxedo carpet is inside the Exhibit Hall only. All BOOTH PACKAGE s will include the following: 7 x 44 I.D. sign Wastebasket Fern Exposition Services will offer our vendors the following special packages: Special Price - $85 prior to January 13 th and $110 if ordered after January 13 th Two Samsonite Folding Chairs One 6 Foot Skirted Table One Wastebasket Add carpet for a discounted rate of $135 prior to January 13 th and $175 after January 13 th. Additional equipment, furniture and services are available through the Show Decorator, Fern Exposition Services. Fern Exposition Services is our exclusive provider of tables, 5

6 chairs, pipe and drape and carpeting. The use of other rental companies is not permitted. EventHaus is our exclusive provider of tents and electricity in the parking lot. PLEASE NOTE: Absolutely no other rental companies will be permitted to deliver to the show! ELECTRICITY AND TELEPHONE SERVICES: Electricity and telephone services may be ordered through the Charleston Area Convention Center. Order forms can be located on pages Please return the forms directly to the Charleston Area Convention Center in order to promptly to take advantage of the advance discount rate. COFFEE AND DANISH: Coffee and Danish will be available for vendors, while supplies last, in the front of the Exhibit Hall Friday 9:00am 11:00am, Saturday 8:00am 11:00am and Sunday 9:45am 11:00am. SECURITY: Overnight security will be provided on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Show Management is not responsible for stolen or damaged merchandise. Please lock up or take valuable displays with you at night. SALES TAX FORMS: Show Management will have Sales Tax Forms available at the Vendor Registration/Show Information Desk for vendors who are selling products on-site. SHOW PROGRAM: The Show Program will be available online and will be distributed on-site to all show attendees. All vendors who register prior to January 5, 2016 will be listed in the Show Program. A great way to entice attendees to The Charleston Boat Show is to raffle off great prizes. This is also a fantastic way for your company to capitalize on its participation, as we will list your prize on the website, in the official Show Program, and on the on-site signage.
