By participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and represent that you satisfy all of the eligibility requirements below. Note that this Sweepstakes is one of three (3) offered La Dolce Vita sweepstakes concurrently being made available by the Sponsor. These Official Rules apply only to the La Dolce Vita Trip to Italy Sweepstakes. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 1. Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the continental United States and the District of Columbia, who at the time of entry are age 18 or older, and have a user account on Facebook. Employees of Sponsor and Sponsor s affiliates, their advertising and promotional agencies, and any of their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to win. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void in Hawaii, Alaska and where prohibited. 2. Sponsor: Dr. Schar USA, Inc., 1050 Wall Street West, Suite 370, Lyndhurst, NJ The Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes starts at 12:00 pm EST on March 25, 2014 and ends at 10:00am EST on April 30, 2014 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). All entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible to win the prize. 4. How to Enter: Initial Entry All entrants must complete an initial entry into the Sweepstakes prior to any other method of entry in order to be entered into the Sweepstakes. There is one (1) way to initially enter the Sweepstakes. Navigate to the Schar Sweepstakes Facebook tab located at fill out the entry form, and submit. Entry form requires entrants to provide their first name, last name, , date of birth, address, city, state, and zip. Entrants must also opt-in to enter the La Dolce Vita Trip to Italy Sweepstakes. All entries will be rejected if the required fields of the initial entry form (those labeled with *) are not completed and submitted during the Sweepstakes Period. Daily Trivia Entries After the initial entry has been completed, throughout the Sweepstakes Period, entrants that correctly answer Sponsor s presented trivia question (a new trivia question to be made available each day) will obtain one additional entry into each of the 3 offered La Dolce Vita sweepstakes you have entered.. One (1) additional entry per La Dolce Vita sweepstakes entered will be given for each trivia question answered correctly. The provided Trivia widget applies to each of the 3 offered La Dolce Vita sweepstakes, and a provided correct or an incorrect answer will affect your daily trivia entry in each of the 3 sweepstakes you have entered. Entrants may answer each presented trivia question only once per day. Questions will be updated daily for a total of fifty-one (51) unique questions, and a maximum potential of fifty-one (51) Daily Trivia Entries per person for this Sweepstakes, and for each of the other La Dolce Vita sweepstakes you have entered. If entrants successfully fill out the initial entry form, properly take all social actions to obtain all possible social media activity entries, and answer all presented daily trivia questions correctly, limit fifty-eight (58) entries per person for this Sweepstakes, and for each of the other La Dolce Vita sweepstakes you have entered. No Entrant is Guaranteed to win the Sweepstakes prize. Use of any automated system to enter is prohibited and will automatically result in disqualification. If there is a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the holder of the account will be deemed the person who submitted the entry. Incomplete entries will be disqualified, and Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, deleted, garbled, corrupted, misdelivered, or misdirected as a result of technical, internet or other online difficulties or errors. The use of automated or third party software or web site to register and/or play is prohibited. Final eligibility for the award of any prize is subject to eligibility verification as set forth below. Entries must be posted by the end of the Sweepstakes Period in order to be eligible.. 5. Prizing: Odds of winning depend upon number of eligible entries received. One (1) prize will be awarded in this Sweepstakes, consisting of a travel prize package as described. One (1) prize winner and 1 alternate will be randomly drawn from among all eligible entries received upon close of the Sweepstakes Period, on or about May 1, Sweepstakes winner will receive a travel package consisting of the following described elements. All other aspects and expenses necessary for and relating to prize redemption shall be at the prize winner s sole cost and expense. Prize winner and travel companion are responsible for valid passports and/or other necessary travel documentation to redeem the prize. A valid credit card will be required upon hotel check-in for incidental expenses. Prize package does NOT include airport transfers to/from prize winner s home, from/to major airport closest to the prize winner s home; airport transfers to/from Florence, Italy airport, from/to hotel; rental car; transportation expenses (including transportation to/from Chocolate Artisans of Florence Tour); meals; tourist activities; or incidental expenses. Prize package is limited to values set forth below. - (2) Round trip coach / economy class airline tickets to Florence, Italy from the major airport closest to the home of the winner ("ARV": $2,000). - A four (4) night stay at a 4 star hotel in Florence, Italy ( ARV : $1,600). Hotel will be chosen by Sponsor and its affiliates. Prize based on one (1) room, double occupancy. - Two (2) local walking tour tickets for The Chocolate Artisans of Florence Tour ("ARV": $437.41). Total ARV of Sweepstakes Prize package to be awarded is $4, Trip must be fulfilled by December 31 st, Blackout dates may apply in accordance with Sponsor and or third party vendor restrictions. Although every effort will be made to accommodate prize winners travel dates, final travel dates will be subject to Sponsors approval. Prize cannot be transferred, assigned, redeemed for cash or substituted by winner. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value if the prize or a prize element described in these Official Rules is unavailable or cannot be awarded, in whole or in part, for any reason. The ARV of the prize represents Sponsor's good faith determination based on estimated market rates as of the commencement of the Sweepstakes. Airline and hotel pricing and value may vary based on seasonality and other factors.,. Sponsor s ARV determinations are final and binding and cannot be appealed. If the actual value of the prize turns out to be less than the stated ARV, the difference will NOT be awarded in cash. The Sweepstakes prize will be awarded within thirty (30) days after winner verification. If a prize notification is returned as undeliverable or if the selected winner does not respond to the notification 3

4 within seven (7) calendar days, disqualification will result, and the prize will be awarded to the selected alternate winner. Travel companion will be required to sign and return liability and travel release. If travel companion is under the age of 18, liability and travel release must be provided by parent or guardian. If winner and travel companion do not execute such documentation upon request, their prize will be forfeited and the prize will be awarded to the selected alternate winner. 6. General: Sponsor will not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, damaged or misdirected entries, issues with hosting, servers or other internet malfunctions and accepts no responsibility for any injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from an entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or prize redemption. One (1) additional entry per La Dolce Vita sweepstakes entered will be given for each trivia question answered correctly. The provided Trivia widget applies to each of the 3 offered La Dolce Vita sweepstakes, and a provided correct or an incorrect answer will affect your daily trivia entry in each of the 3 sweepstakes you have entered. Entrants may answer each presented trivia question only once per day. Questions will be updated daily for a total of fifty-one (51) unique questions, and a maximum potential of fifty-one (51) Daily Trivia Entries per person for this Sweepstakes, and for each of the other La Dolce Vita sweepstakes you have entered. Entries must be posted by the end of the Sweepstakes Period in order to be eligible.. 5. Prizing: Odds of winning depend upon number of eligible entries received. General: Sponsor will not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, damaged or misdirected entries, issues with hosting, servers or other internet malfunctions and accepts no responsibility for any injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from an entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or prize redemption. By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to these Official Rules and waives, and releases Sponsor and Sponsor's affiliated companies, and all other businesses involved in this Sweepstakes, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each, from, all claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes or delivery, mis-delivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use the prizes (and/or any elements of them) (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.
