For which type of process applications do we make carbide parts? WEAR RESISTANT CARBIDE PARTS Cemented carbide consists of exceptionally hard tungsten carbide particles in a ductile metal binder. This hybrid structure gives cemented carbide its unique property of combining extreme high hardness combined with the highest compressive strength and good toughness. 6 RENOWNED SUPPLIER FOR POLYMER PRODUCERS During the last decades CTD has grown to be a worldwide renowned supplier for the polymer production plants. In LDPE-production plants (low density polyethylene) we supply and refurbish the most critical high pressure parts. The extremely high pressures (up to 3500 bar) and the explosive nature of the compressed gas make all parts and their reconditioning very critical. For other polymer plants that produce LLDPE, HDPE, PP or PS as well as in compounding plants we manufacture pelletizing knives and we recondition pelletizing die plates for underwater pelletizing.
