The non-contact simultaneous orientation is achieve thanks to the air inflated during the start up phase. This air allows the transversal orientation while the machine direction orientation is taken simultaneously thanks to the speed different between the stretching nip roll and the tower nip roll. The bubble is cooled by air and then flattened; after the trimming of the edge, the two webs obtained rolled up in two reels. By annealing the product obtained on the biorientation equipment, it is possible to obtain heat set film such us: BOPP, BOPA, BOPET and special products. The annealing can be placed in line or off line.partial annealing can also be integrated in the orientation 4 5

In the path between the die and the pulling rolls, the tube is inflated until it tangencies the sizing ring which defines the width of the film that is being produced. Right after it, the film goes out of the die passing through an Air Ring, then suffering a pre-cooling and then the film passes through a sizing ring immersed in cool water. The cool water provides a thermo shock on the film because of the cold temperature, making the film to acquire brightness and high transparency that are the characteristics of the product. Afterwards the film passes through the pulling rolls, through a drier to eliminate the damp, then it passes by the device of lateral slitting (cutting) of the film and finally the roll is wound in the double winder. 8 9

Extrusion coating and lamination is a well known technique used to produce multilayer composite laminates in one pass, thanks to the use of coextrusion technologies. This make this process very attractive. The adhesision of different substrate is done by resin. With the increasing demand for more and more square meters, extrusion coating equipment has been developed with two or even three coating stations in-line and utilising coextrusion on one or more of the coating units. 7 GAP Unwinder, Auxially Unwinders and Winder up to 1800 mm winder are specifically designed accordingly to the material to handle like: paper, board, plastic film, aluminum. Winder can be supplied with Pneumatic shafts or shaftless Semiautomatic or fully automatic splice system Fix or movable arms to help roll pick up Roll can be load by lifting platform or crane. Fly splice in one direction on both direction Dedicate splice for aluminum foil Chemical primers will provide the adhesion required particularly in food packaging. In particular use of chemical primers can allow extrusion coating at substantially lower temperatures without loss of adhesion -this is particularly valuable in extrusion coating of food packaging materials since the lower extrusion temperature means a lower degree of resin degradation and therefore less odour imparted to the goods packaged. The primers can also impart certain barrier properties as well as maintaining adequate adhesion under difficult process conditions. The lamination group is design and built to provide a uniform temperature on the chill roll surface with particular water flow circulation. GAP has different size and finish surface of the chill roll accordingly to the out put and to the material to be laminated. Quick removable chill roll easy change. Pressure roll covered by particular coating heat resistance. Adjustable tapes for overcoating In extrusion coating GAP control high extrudate temperature with a high degree of homogeneity to obtain the ideal situation for good coating. In addition, and most important, we are aiming at these conditions over a wide screw speed range The temperature of the extrudate is governed by many variables but the specific ones to consider are screw design, barrel temperature, the polymer viscosity and the extrusion output rate or screw speed. The film passes through a set of idle rolls where are mounted thickness control system, corona treatment and oscillating system. After the trimming of the edge, the web obtained rolled up in a roll.
