Valve suppliers/vendors shall supply all valves with metal tags with the appropriate valve code numbers. The metal tags shall be attached to the valves with metal wires. If a valve is internally coated, the type of coating shall be identified on the metal tag. The following is an example of a typical valve code designation:

40 Page 40 of Hot Oil, Glycol, Amine Lines and smaller must be socket welded. 2. Hot Oil and glycol lines must have the following flanges on 150 ANSI lines mm mm 300 ANSI/Sch 40 RF Flanges. This reduces leakage in these sizes when heating and cooling occurs within lines. 3.
