1 Thermal/Catalytic Oxidizer Model HGTO 500 HD The model HGTO 500 HD oxidizer is a fuel gas fired thermal oxidizer designed to treat chlorinated, fluorinated, as well as non-halogenated hydrocarbons. The oxidizer can be field fitted with an HD catalyst module to reduce long term operating cost once the VOC levels drop to an appropriate level. 2 Shell in shell design prevents hydrofluoric acid gas from coming in contact with the insulation. The inner shell is a high temperature Inconel 600 alloy which is fully insulated on the exterior. This photo shows only 3 insulation and our standard is 8 of insulation (the insulation and exterior is not complete as this photo was taken during the fabrications process). The outer shell is painted carbon steel. Page 3

4 HCl Scrubber Model 500 The HCl scrubber module is a self contained closed loop scrubbing system complete with liquid quench and neutralization system. A control system continuously monitors the ph and automatically adds NaOH to the scrubber tank. It also monitors the conductivity and automatically will blow-down scrubber liquid. The Scrubber is designed to operate completely independent of the oxidizer and requires an enable disable signal interface with the oxidizer control panel. The scrubber is located in a heated building enclosure for freeze protection. 5 This is a standard FRP acid gas scrubber assembly with the Hastaloy quench. All piping is CPVC and individual components materials of construction are suitable for use in the scrubber. Page 6

6 CONTROL SYSTEM NOTES 1. Each Allen-Bradley PLC is complete with an HMI. 2. We have included a Yokagawa digital chart recorder( FX /C7/M1) 3. We have included an Allen-Bradley 9300 RADES Ethernet modem. This provides for remote access at any time with no need to switch cables around. This is superior to any kind of an external fax modem where someone would need to be onsite to connect a cable to allow for dialling in. ADDITIONAL CLARIFICATION COMMENTS/EXCEPTIONS 1. This proposal is offered in accordance with CCC s standard engineering and manufacturing procedures. 2. Pricing does not include any taxes or duties, and any applicable sales and use taxes or duties are not collected or paid by CCC. 3. Our warranty will extend for one year after startup but not to exceed 18 months after shipment. An extended warranty may be available. 4. This proposal and pricing is valid for 60 days 5. Prices on the bid form are provided for evaluation purposes only. The order must be for both the oxidizer and scrubber. 6. CCC takes full exception to the terms and conditions provided by ERM. The below pricing is based on using CCC s standard terms and conditions of sale, using CCC s standard engineering and manufacturing procedures. CCC may accept alternate terms and conditions. Pricing is subject to change based on terms and conditions requirements. 7. Quench will be constructed of Hastalloy C276 as opposed to AL6XN. 8. Motor manufacture will be determined by the fan and pump manufacturers. 9. Dungs fuel train pressure switches will be used. 10. CCC maintains the right to deviate from any or all of the specifications listed in the RFP to provide a standard packaged system built to CCC s standard engineering and manufacturing procedures.
