Job Description Team Member Start Date: 21/09/2017 Reports to: Manger or Managing Director in Manager s absence Location: Paddock Wood Kent Contract Period: 3 Months induction period, 20 hours per week (5 nights per week) Reward Package Hourly Rate: 7.50ph Holiday Entitlement: 28 days holiday (pro rata). Job Role We are seeking an enthusiastic & positive individual to join Moonlight Drive-in Cinema as a Team member to assist in running our new venue location in Kent, you will be part of a small team thriving to provide an amazing service. You will learn a number of skills including digital film projection, customer service skills & event management. We are seeking an individual who is willing to learn and grow within the business to eventually train as site manager at one of our other locations across the UK or move into another role at the same location. This role will include maintaining health and safety aspects, customer care and administration.
Duties and Responsibilities Maintain site structures, paths, fencing, gates etc. in good serviceable order in accordance with company procedures, our sites must be kept clean and tidy at all times. See rubbish, pick it up Manage the site and employees without supervision from the manager Record checks, serviceability and work required in the relevant register Ensure all administration, documentation, logs and records are compiled, updated and stored as per Company procedures Remove litter from site and maintain and clean and tidy working environment Notify the Manager or Managing Director of any site problems, health and safety concerns or other employee s disputes Comply with all health and safety policies, measures, legislation & film licensing codes of conduct Ensure your own safety and those with whom you are working Use equipment in a safe manner as trained Ensure the safe operation of our events Maintain the security of site, containers and equipment Assist with Risk Assessments and Method Statements where required Apply first aid when necessary appropriate to your skill level, training will be provided Report and record all accidents, significant incidents and rescues correctly Report all safety matters to the Manager or Managing Director Carry out site checks during the daily opening and closing of the site and record any findings
Customer Service & Safety Assist with customer enquiries & bookings Welcome customers and prepare them to take part in the events Ensure all customers: o Are of the correct age for the film o Have the correct frequency for the film audio o Have an enjoyable experience o Deliver food & drinks within reasonable time Demonstrate the safe system traffic management Instruct and brief customers in the safety procedures while attending our events Maintain customer satisfaction, which includes: o ensuring all customers are safe o catering to customers needs as best as physically possible o ensuring fast delivery times of food orders o being polite and welcoming at all times o maintain good knowledge base about films & cinemas in general o Do everything within reason to minimise customer complaints and maximise customer Satisfaction
Personal Specification Team member Essential 1. Must be punctual, with a professional outlook, able to work under own initiative without supervision 2. A customer comes first attitude with drive and enthusiasm to achieve higher impact 3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and high standard of personal hygiene and appearance 4. Must be an enthusiastic team player and be able to work with other colleagues in an unusual business environment 5. High energy levels with cheerful disposition and the ability to work under pressure 6. Must like working outdoors 7. Must be able to demonstrate attention to detail and follow company procedures 8.
