Research With our research partners, we can support organisations to better understand issues relating to cultural diversity. Our research can focus on a range of organisational priorities and projects such as: the business case for cultural diversity initiatives an analysis of diversity data, metrics and indicators a review of issues of local, national and international significance. JOB PURPOSE To work alongside a team of Consultant s and Senior Consultant s to support the Manager of CQ Cultural Consulting to lead and coordinate the CQ Cultural Consulting social enterprise. The CQ Senior Consultant role is to serve the following core functions: Key goals include: 1. Project manage a diverse range of projects for CQ Clients (training, consulting, research and resource development projects) 2. Service delivery of CQ services, including training, consulting, research and resource development. 3. Support business development activities to grow the enterprise 4. Oversee assigned organisational operations of CQ JOB OBJECTIVES Duties of this role include but are not limited to the following: 1. Project Management - Project Management effectively manages small to large scale projects from end-toend to deliver high quality outcomes on time and on budget. This will include client relationship management, coordination of staff, oversee project implementation, monitoring and evaluation. 2
- Quality Assurance provide quality expert oversight and control over all project material designed and produced by CQ. This also includes the design and administration of systems and processes to ensure high performance of enterprise (such as project management, continuous improvement systems etc.). - Relationship Management Effectively manage relationships with clients, stakeholders and partners when project secured. 2. Business Development - Support in brokering and maintaining relationships with clients, partners and strategic relationships - Identifies, pursues, scopes and converts opportunities into new projects - Procurement and business development where necessary - Support in preparation of tenders and submissions 3. Service Delivery - Deliver CQ Cultural Consulting services, including: Training design, customisation, workshop facilitation and evaluation of training programs Consulting deliver bespoke consulting services using a problem solving mindset. These consulting services include advisory and design, implementation, stakeholder consultations and engagements and evaluation. Research and Resource Development undertake research for CQ and design and develop material and e-learning resources. 4. Contribute to Organisational Operations The incumbent will be required to undertake organisational and operational activities including: - Implementation of the strategic plan and achieve key performance indicators - Contribute to the regular update, review and revise strategic goals regularly - Other duties as required. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Qualifications / Experience Essential: 1. Project Management: exceptional project management skills and experience. A track record of delivering quality outcomes on time and on budget. Experience developing and/or administering systems and processes for good governance. 2. Business Development: experience in supporting business development activities and extensive contacts and networks. 3. Client relationship management: experience building and strengthening client/stakeholder relationships, meeting and exceeding client expectations. 4. Leadership: strong leadership qualities with a track record of building trusted relationships, leading teams and achieving results. 5. Personal attributes: resilient, requires minimal supervision, self-driven, entrepreneurial spirit, excellent time management skills, efficient, strategic and objective. 6. Other: high level verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage competing demands within limited timeframes. Desirable 7. Cultural diversity knowledge/expertise - An understanding of cultural diversity, cultural intelligence and/or unconscious bias (this however can be developed on the job) 8. Relevant qualifications including business, commerce, project management, learning & development, psychology and/or similar fields. 9. Business and leadership experience is highly desirable 10. Consulting experience - experience working within a consulting practice (management, strategic or other similar).
