Jb Annuncement Utah Climate Actin Netwrk Prgram Manager Overview The Utah Climate Actin Netwrk (the Netwrk) is seeking a dynamic individual t lead its grwth and success as a hub fr cllabratin and psitive climate actin in Utah. This psitin will wrk with Netwrk Cnveners and participants in executing a missin which includes initiating and sustaining a slutins-fcused climate change cnversatin in Utah. The Netwrk includes rganizatins frm multiple sectrs, wrking acrss a brad range f climate issues, and this psitin ffers the ability t be a majr catalyst fr psitive change. The Netwrk publicly launched in April 2016 and this Prgram Manager psitin represents the first paid staff fr the Netwrk. The psitin will initially be filled as a part-time rle and its nging existence depends n funding. Hwever, the Netwrk wishes t grw and expand its influence in ways that will require full-time supprt ver the lnger-term. The success f the hired individual, particularly in terms f demnstrating value f the Netwrk and securing funding, will largely determine if and hw this psitin transitins int a full-time pprtunity. Jb Duties and Respnsibilities Fundraising & Budget: Build brand awareness and ability f the Netwrk t enhance lcal climate change activities. Manage financial and ther resurces assciated with the Netwrk. Tasks include, but are nt limited t: Manage the Netwrk as a Fiscally Spnsred Prject with a registered 501(c)(3) Manage the prcess f incrprating the Netwrk as a nn-prfit and securing 501(c)(3) status Draft a fundraising plan and partner with Netwrk participants n implementatin Cmplete grant applicatins and assciated reprting, where applicable Secure strategic partnerships fr technical assistance and ther frms f supprt Track and reprt n all financial matters, in cnjunctin with Fiscal Spnsrship Cmmunicatins & Outreach: Cmplete nging tasks related t cmmunicatins and utreach, including but nt limited t: Update cntent n UtahClimateActinNetwrk.cm and ther prgram websites Pst thrugh existing scial media accunts (Facebk, Twitter and Instagram) Draft and send a recurring newsletter t Netwrk participants Act as a liaisn and Netwrk representative t the media Manage general inquiries frm the public and stakehlders Implement reginal climate actin campaign and related deliverables Member Cnnectivity & Recruitment: Ensure that the Netwrk serves its primary purpse f cnnecting members with climate change infrmatin, slutins and lcal

Tasks include, but are nt limited t: Organize and facilitate Netwrk events that include all participants Assist in creatin and nging management f tpic-based climate sub-grups Onging 1:1 engagement with participants thrugh email updates and meetings Recruit new participants acrss all sectrs and ensure diversity f participants Strategic Leadership: In crdinatin with Netwrk Cnveners and participants, implement strategic visin detailed in Netwrk Charter and ensure nging updates t align visin with emerging pririties and pprtunities. Example tasks include: Cnduct recurring meetings with Netwrk Cnveners and prject partners Gauge and reprt strategic and partnership pririties f Netwrk participants Guide verall grwth and success f Netwrk as it matures Required Qualificatins and Experience Self-mtivated, ambitius, innvative team player with passin fr imprving cmmunities and the envirnment Strng knwledge f PC-based sftware applicatins Strng writing, verbal cmmunicatin and facilitatin skills Demnstrated prject management and/r business develpment success Preferred Qualificatins and Experience Degree, cursewrk, r prfessinal training in climate science, greenhuse gas management and accunting, r equivalent pathway t climate literacy and prfessinal credibility Minimum f five (5) years experience related t cmmunity engagement, nnprfit management, climate actin, r related Minimum f three (3) years f experience in a management capacity, including managing peple and team building, managing sizable budgets and/r managing entire prgrams r service areas Cnsulting r independent cntractr experience and/r understanding and enthusiasm fr wrking autnmusly, including the crdinatin and cmmunicatin with an advisry bard t mst efficiently utilize available resurces and time Demnstrated thught leadership and innvatin Cmpensatin The Prgram Manager psitin is funded fr an initial 12-mnth perid. Hwever, Netwrk Cnveners and participants are mtivated t ensure the enduring success f this initiative.
