We are keen t develp regular cntact, exchanges and annualised visits frm natinal and internatinal partners linking ur wrk t prgressin pssibilities and wrk experience pprtunities. 3 Trustees are appinted at the AGM in Dec/ Jan, fllwing a recruitment prcess designed t ensure the trustees cllectively have the range f skills, knwledge, understanding and experience needed t hld legal respnsibility fr the rganisatin, as set ut in the skills prfile fr Trustees. Trustees are bliged t ensure that VOYAGE cmplies with: its stated aims, prject and plicy bjectives, regulatry requirements f Cmpanies Huse and the Charities Cmmissin relevant legislatin, requirements set dwn by funders, stakehlders and investrs its memrandum and articles f assciatin and ther gverning dcuments. Ensure the financial slvency, stability and prbity f Vyage Safeguard and psitively prmte the gd name and values f Vyage Mnitr the perfrmance f the Executive team, prviding line management supprt and supervisin in line with plicies and prcedures r delegating this functin as apprpriate. Observe a schedule which delegates decisin making and authrity t the Executive team, which shuld ensure that the Executive team: develps and implements a strategy, business plan and budget maintains effective plicies fr the adequate running f the rganisatin effectively carries ut all ther delegated duties n behalf f the trustees In pursuance f these respnsibilities, each Trustee will be required t: Attend at least 75% f full Trustees meetings (which will be apprximately every tw mnths). Read papers, emails etc Lead and cntribute t discussins Attend training sessins as arranged frm time t time t supprt them in their rle.
