The manager can nly cnsider an emplyee fr redeplyment where; The emplyee has a lng term illness r has a cnditin which affects their ability t perfrm their nrmal rle effectively, even after reasnable adjustment are cnsidered and all ther ptins have been exhausted, fr example, mdificatin t their rle via a change t their hurs, wrking times r cntent f their rle. See Wrk Fllwing Health Prblems Guide The emplyee has requested redeplyment n the grunds f ill health, and is supprted by advice frm the Occupatinal Health Service The manager shuld hld a redeplyment meeting with the emplyee t discuss the emplyee s ability t wrk, t identify the wrk they are capable f perfrming, based n medical advice and t capture any ther issues affecting the emplyee. A Redeplyment Cnsideratins frm is available n the Plicy and Infrmatin site n PSP and may be used t supprt the discussin. Where it is established that redeplyment int anther rle wuld be a suitable ptin, the manager shuld explre ptential rles and psitins available in Ryal Mail Grup using the Scping fr redeplyment pprtunities letter available n the Plicy and Infrmatin site n PSP as apprpriate.
