Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities and Duties: A. Income Generation Deliver against annual budgets, targets and plans set by the Corporate Partnerships Manager. Grow income from targeted geographic areas across the region. Identify potential corporate partnerships and actively approach to ask for support for the charity. Input in to annual business planning process. Phase annual income targets to create a month by month target under the direction of the Corporate Partnerships Manager. Page 1 of 8
B. Corporate Fundraising Travelling three or more times a week across the city of Sheffield and the wider region of Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and across the UK when applicable, to pitch the Charity s case for support to companies across the region. Strategically target companies that support charities on an annual basis Support individuals raising income from employee fundraising by providing excellent donor care by dealing with any queries, request for merchandise and any other support they may require. This includes advice on Health and Safety and Safeguarding at events. Be willing to work outside core office hours (early mornings/evenings/weekends) as and when required. To achieve performance against agreed budgets, targets and KPIs To support the building of a new business prospect pipeline for both current and subsequent years. To develop and build strong relationships with current and potential corporate supporters. To lead the pitch process for allocated, proactive targets and Charity of the Year applications for partnerships. To account manage a mixture of partnerships, maximising fundraising potential and profile potential as well as retaining the partnership in the long term. To help in the development of own corporate budgets and targets, with robust supporting plans that are aligned with the team strategy. To report against agreed team and individual targets and KPI s on an ongoing basis. To build a strong presence in business sectors through networking and relationship building. Act as primary TCHC contact for all companies, across an identified geographical area that are supporting the charity. Develop and maintain effective and professional relationships that enable longterm commitments across partner organisations. Manage income for each account in your portfolio ensuring targets are met. nsure evaluations are planned and integrated with other account activity providing appropriate reporting and using this knowledge to improve future activity. C. Volunteer Management: Recruit and grow corporate volunteers in key geographic areas across the region. D. Marketing Report any potential case studies from your contact with corporate supporters to the Marketing workgroup. Send supporter images and stories to the Marketing workgroup for social media use. Identify locations for distribution of marketing collateral for events, campaigns and other marketing initiatives. Actively promote the Charity s fundraising events and campaigns when out in the community. Page 2 of 8
Work with Marketing workgroup to create a marketing tool kit to offer to companies to increase the visibility of the Charity within their organisation. G. General Fundraising: Identify opportunities using your fundraising knowledge to add value to a supporters fundraising activity. nsure accurate receipting of donations and gifts received from supporters. nsuring that accurate and up to date financial and CRM supporter records are maintained and accessible. Keep notes of correspondence with supporters on the CRM data base. Work with Fundraising Administrators and the Corporate Fundraising Assistant to ensure that supporter data required is provided for fundraising campaigns. Manage fundraising projects effectively from their initiation through the stages of planning, delivery and review of the project s activity. Manage workload through good time management according to your annual Key Performance Indicators and Objectives. Support other members of the Fundraising Workgroup and wider Charity staff workgroups as and when required. Work within TCHC policies, procedures and adhering to legal frameworks. Work within the Institute of Fundraisers Code of Practice. H. Reporting Provide a written report each month on your area of responsibility s business activity to the Corporate Partnerships Manager. valuate and measure your performance using Key Performance Indicators and objectives at your monthly 1:1. I. General Represent the Charity when required, this may include external events or donor presentations. Attend and participate in a variety of weekly meetings; Fundraising Workgroup meetings, monthly whole staff group meetings; monthly 1:1s with the Corporate Partnerships Manager; annual appraisals. Such other duties as may be required by the Fundraising Support and Marketing functions To participate in training and undertake appropriate learning and development, as identified through appraisal and regular reviews with line manager. Corporate Partnerships Officer Terms & Conditions 1. Salary 21,420-25,500 dependant on experience 2. Contract Permanent 3. Hours 37.5 hours per week. (9am 5pm / Mon-Fri) 4. Pension Scheme You will be auto enrolled into a Pension Plan, after a three month postponement period, with an employer contribution of 7% basic pay. 5. Westfield Health You will be enrolled as a member of the Westfield Health Chamber Primary Health Cash Plan (Level 1). 6. Annual Leave 27 days per annum, plus statutory holidays. 7. Probationary Period All new staff are subject to an initial probationary period which is six months for permanent staff. 8. Supervisions and Annual Appraisal Supervisions and annual appraisals are conducted regularly for all staff by their Line Manager. 9. No Smoking We have a policy of no smoking at this workplace (except limited designated areas) which you are required to respect. 10.
