Participants Guide t the ALGARVE NATURE WEEK 2018 B2B EVENT Htel Vila Galé Lags 21 st f April 2017-9h30 am t 12h30 pm http://algarvenatureweek2018.talkb2b.net INTRODUCTION The Enterprise Eurpe Netwrk (EEN) prvides assistance and supprt fr SMEs and ther ecnmic agents in such areas as regulatins, funding, innvatin and internatinalizatin. CCDR Algarve is the netwrk partner fr the Algarve. One f the main cmpetencies f the EEN is t supprt internatinal partnerships n the fields f trade and technlgy r investigatin & develpment prjects. The netwrk has an intense and dynamic prtfli f rganized business matchmaking events, primarily integrated in fairs r internatinal summits / cnferences (see the event schedule in http://een.ec.eurpa.eu under Events categry). The Algarve Turism Bard and the Algarve Prmtin Bureau, in cperatin with CCDR Algarve, will hst the Business Matchmaking Algarve Nature Week 2018 B2B Event, with the cntributin and added supprt f several members f the Enterprise Eurpe Netwrk. BUSINESS MATCHMAKING EVENT The B2B will take place at the htel Vila Galé Lags Lags, n the 21 st f April, during the prmtinal event that is aptly called Algarve Nature Week (http://algarvenatureweek.pt) an event fr the recreatin and entertainment industry in turism, as well as a prmtinal feat exclusively dedicated t Nature Turism, with special ffers n utdr activities and accmmdatin units in the Algarve. It cmprises a frum f bilateral matchmaking meetings between the reginal cmpanies registered n the fficial Algarve Nature Week Prgramme, either as prviders f recreatinal and entertainment services t the turism industry, including the assciates f the Algarve Prmtin Bureau and the invited internatinal tur peratrs. The main bjective is t prmte the discussin f cllabratin prpsals and business agreements between the participants. All thse interested, shuld register their cmpanies n the Algarve Natures Week 2018 B2B Event prtal (see instructins belw) and then, accrdingly t the selected natinality and categry f tur 1

peratrs, prceed t request r be invited t meetings by thse peratrs, which will all take place n the designated date. During the B2B event, participants will have the technical supprt f the Enterprise Eurpe Netwrk staff, as well as frm ther members f the rganizatin, n any issue regarding cntacts and meetings. HOW TO REGISTER The Algarve Nature Week 2018 B2B Event prtal is available at the fllwing link. Start yur registratin by clicking Register n the right tp crner f the hmepage. A simple frm bx will then be available, where participants shuld submit data regarding the cmpany name and representative. There are mandatry fields marked with an *; nevertheless, please cnsider filling them in with as much infrmatin as pssible, in rder t facilitate future cntacts. REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE UNTIL THE 16 th APRIL! Sme useful infrmatin and recmmendatins regarding the registratin prcess: The cmpany website is imprtant, as allws ptential partners a first glimpse ver the activities and services prvided. It is als imprtant t remember that it is an internatinal meeting, s be sure t have all sensible infrmatin n the website in English language; The representative shuld state his r her psitin at the cmpany (CEO, manager, marketing directr, thers) and be an English speaker (r have assistance frm ne wh is), as meetings will be held in that language; The field Descriptin f the Organizatin shuld fully describe the cmpany activities, in English, in a cncise, clear and bjective manner, and in a maximum f 5 r 6 sentences. Each participant must select the perids f availability t schedule meetings. Cnsidering the existing time and the duratin f each meeting (max. 15 minutes), any individual cmpany may schedule up t 10 frmal meetings (with fficial timetable and assigned desks). During the sessin breaks and free time, infrmal meetings may be scheduled withut interfering with the fficial timetable. COOPERATION PROFILE The registratin cmprises the Cperatin Prfile frm, where yu shuld prvide a descriptin f the cmpany s featured prducts and services r thse requested frm the ther participants. The infrmatin prvided here must be bjective and carefully structured, therefre increasing the pssibilities f being invited fr meetings and that these are within the scpe f yur participatin. Yu can add as much cperatin prfiles as different individual partnership prpsals yu are interested in discuss with the participants. Please remind that a registratin has a single meeting schedule. Tips n adding a Cperatin Prfile: The title shuld be shrt and clear abut the request / ffer f cperatin, e.g. Guesthuse lcated in a surf resrt is lking fr Eurpean tur peratrs. Often titles determine if a prfile is chsen r rejected; The prfile descriptin defines the quality and pertinence f scheduled meetings. Please, cnsider the fllwing tpics n text redactin: Intrductin (avid repeating the activity descriptin already inserted n the Registratin); Prducts r services ffered r requested; Innvative r differential characteristics and advantages abut yur service (including internatinal experience and certificatins); Pretended categry f cperatin (e.g. dealings r cmmercial agreement) and cmpetencies and type f partners; Other sensible infrmatin as market segments and particular niche markets r cuntries intended. 3

The prfile shuld be as frthcming as pssible in rder t avid being early rejected. UPDATING REGISTRATION INFORMATION Once registered, the participant may lgin with the chsen e-mail accunt and passwrd. In the Organizatin Data, yu may add the cmpany lg and an image f yur unit r service within the Cperatin Prfiles. Yu may als add a flyer r brchure f yur activity, as well as yur scial media netwrk cntacts frm Facebk, LinkedIn r Twitter. AFTER REGISTRATION? The fllwing step, t Schedule Meetings, will be available between the 2 nd f April and the 16 th f April. This prcess will take place within the prtal, thrugh each participant individual accunt. During this perid, participants will be granted access t a messenger service enabling them t prepare meetings and get acquaint themselves. This is nt an autmatic prcess; participants must search and analyse prfiles and submit crrespnding invitatins and, f curse, accept r reject incming invitatins. IMPORTANT: Meetings scheduled thrugh the prtal will be exclusively between reginal cmpanies and the internatinal tur peratrs. Unfficial bilateral cntacts between reginal cmpanies must infrmally take place within the event area r during the prgrammed shw. Nevertheless, meetings will nly be effective if the invited cmpanies accept them, using the B2B prtal. After the perid f sending, accepting r rejecting meetings, the TalkB2B platfrm will, autmatically, send the individual meeting schedule t each participant. Nt all intended meetings will be scheduled, due either t rejectin r lack f available time n the partner s agenda. IMPORTANT: Cmpanies with scheduled meetings and unable t attend are required t cancel thse meetings and infrm the rganizatin f this fact. 4

DURING AND AFTER THE EVENT Participants in the Business Matchmaking Event must be present at the lcatin and register at the Welcme Desk befre the appinted perid fr the meetings. They will then be handed the final versin f their individual schedule. Each participant must be punctual and respect the appinted scheduled f meetings, s nt t cmprmise the fllwing meetings. Nn-cnfrmant situatins must be reprted t the rganizatin. After the event, each participant must fllw-up any business cntacts and infrm the rganizatin, namely the Enterprise Eurpe Netwrk, f all cncluding partnership agreements.
