Has the Project Development Objective been changed since Board Approval of the Project Objective? Public Disclosure Copy Overall Ratings Name Previous Rating Current Rating Progress towards achievement of PDO Moderately Satisfactory Moderately Satisfactory Progress towards achievement of GEO Moderately Satisfactory Moderately Satisfactory Overall Implementation Progress (IP) Satisfactory Satisfactory Overall Risk Rating Low Low Implementation Status and Key Decisions Coastal Cities Pollution Control 2 project is implemented by Croatian Waters, and is financing (i) wastewater investments in 23 coastal municipalities, (ii) institutional strengthening of water utilities and national water agencies, and (iii) measurement of sea water quality. The current loan disbursement level is 94 %, while 99% of IBRD funds and 66 % of GEF grant funds have been committed (value of contract signed). Based on achieved results and progress made, it can be expected that PDO objectives are likely to be achieved, and that close to full Loan amount will be utilized by the Project closing date, while Grant utilization depends on outcome of procurement process for the last remaining constructed Wetland Waste Water Treatment Plant in Prud. Up to now, 162 km of sewerage collectors, 14 WasteWater Treatment Plants and 12 submarine outfalls have been constructed under the project, while percentage of population that has ability to connect to wastewater system in participating municipalities has increased from 28% to 72%. At the same time, project is financing preparation of five packages of documentation and applications for the EU structural funds, covering an area with more than 150,000 permanent residents, and up to 450,000 seasonal tourists. Current closing date is December 31, 2015 for loan financed activities, and the May 31, 2016 for GEF grant financed activities. The Project still requires the full attention and the HV team will need to ensure successful completion of the last remaining activities, with particular emphasis on GEF grant financed activities.
