1.1 ALTERNATES A. Alternate #1: Furnish and install Metal Roofing for the New Garage 1. In lieu of asphalt shingles; the bidder provides this alternate price for a Metal Roof ; type; style and design at the bidder s discretion. Submit product info. B. Alternate #2: Furnish and Install new Half Screens on the Existing Operable Windows 1. In addition to the work of the project add the cost to furnish and install new screens. C. Alternate #3: Patch and Refinish Wood Floors in Bathrooms 1. In lieu of ceramic tile in the bathrooms; the bidder provides the alternate price for patching and refinishing the wood floors in the bathrooms. D. Alternate #4: Minimize / Eliminate Basement Moisture (that occurs in spring / heavy rain). 1. Provide a workable solution (plan and cost) to minimize basement moisture. E. Alternate #5: Tuck Point both Buildings (this one at 409 N / the other at 401N Broadway). 1. Provide a workable solution (recommended action and cost) for tuck pointing each building.
