We are the lead organisation for promoting and developing leisure, business and cultural tourism in Oxfordshire. Operating to notfor-profit principles, Experience Oxfordshire is a partnership organisation, actively engaged on a local, national and international level to grow the visitor economy. The Visitor Economy is vitally important to Oxfordshire. Each year we welcome over 27 million visitors to the County who spend just over 2 billion in the local economy which supports over 33,000 10% of all jobs across Oxfordshire. We work with businesses to grow and develop the Visitor Economy and promote Oxfordshire as a great destination to live, work, visit and do business. Experience Oxfordshire is a Partnership Organisation who work with Partners who come from all sectors of the Oxfordshire economy including hotels, attractions, retail, events, transport and restaurants. We work with our Partners to collectively promote their products and services and grow the visitor economy across Oxfordshire through information provided in the Visitor Information Centre, marketing, media, travel trade and events. The Role This exciting and broad ranging role is ideal for someone aspiring to develop their career in digital marketing. We are looking for an ambitious person to join a small team with big plans and someone who is innovative and creative with significant experience in digital marketing and development and that will recognise opportunities which help grow the business. The Digital Marketing Executive will be joining Experience Oxfordshire at an exciting time in our development as our online and digital presence is more important than ever. We re looking for someone who s passionate about digital marketing. Someone who understands the importance of building user friendly, SEO optimised websites and who will be constantly striving to improve the website experience to all our audiences. The person will also have proven experience delivering PPC campaigns. In addition, a good knowledge of delivering digital campaigns using social media and email marketing to engage people and generate income for the company is a must. The post holder will be responsible for Experience Oxfordshire s digital and social media presence and other associated digital platforms. The role will work across the visitor economy, partnership and stakeholder network promoting the tourism and cultural offer of the County and the product of our partners using our range of digital platforms. The post holder will provide marketing support across all service areas of the business which include (but are not exclusive to); partnership, events, business support, visitor information centre, walking tours, travel trade and conferencing. The role s primary responsibilities are: Be the primary digital marketing contact for Experience Oxfordshire Partners to ensure the timely updating of Partner pages on the Experience Oxfordshire Visitor and Conferencing website. Manage Google PPC campaigns including ongoing optimisation and reporting. To provide regular reports and analytics on digital performance. Work with the Marketing Manager and Partnership Manager to improve the company s suite of websites; B2B, B2C and conferencing. Maximise social media exposure including content creation such as blogs and infographics and working the with the Marketing Manager to deliver a content plan for the visitor and conference audiences. Manage the email marketing programme using MailChimp including selling email space to Partners, creating the emails, managing the database and analysing performance. Work with the wider team to promote and manage the company s programme of events. Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns in line with brand and design guidelines and overall company policy. Communicate and actively sell the benefits of forthcoming marketing campaigns to encourage Partner buy in. Maximise income through offering partners digital opportunities. Evaluate performance of marketing campaigns. Promote and support the development of strategic partnerships across the County.

Assist in the development and implementation of a new CRM system. Work with the Marketing Manager to maximise dissemination of the T-Stats system across the partnership network. To carry out all duties in line with Equal Opportunities policies in operation. To undertake any such duties commensurate with the post as may be required. PERSON SPECIFICATION Factors Education/Qualifications Educated to GCSE/GNVQ level or equivalent by experience. Educated to at least degree level or equivalent in programming and digital development. CIM Marketing qualification. Experience Minimum of three years experience in a digital marketing role. Experience of planning and project managing website development including a good insight into user experience, search optimisation, and Google Analytics. Experience of using website content management systems. or? Assessment via */C /C /C /C Demonstrable experience of marketing campaign planning and delivery. Experience in email marketing including using Mail Chimp, Dotmailer or an equivalent email platform; maintaining a healthy database; campaign analysis and refinement. Experience in PPC campaign management Experience of social media marketing that delivers tangible benefits: increased website traffic and customer engagement. Experience of achieving income and sales targets. Experience with working in a customer service environment. Experience of strategic working with partners/ stakeholders. Experience of tourism and cultural marketing. A working knowledge of HTML. Skills/Knowledge Demonstratable website and social media experience. Practical working knowledge of online marketing, marketing databases and customer relationship packages. Desireable

Experience of managing PPC campaigns and budgets. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including copywriting. Programming and design skills relevant to digital development.
